"Despite the rumours, Mick Jagger denies planned Rolling Stones tour in 2012. Mick Jagger poured cold water on the rumours of The Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary tour Jagger is currently busy with Superheavy, his side project with Joss Stone, Dave Stewart, Damian Marley and AR Rahman who have released their debut self-titled album but rumours of the tour were heightened last week when all four Stones were spotted leaving an office together in London. However when asked about the tour by The Sun Jagger simply replied ‘don’t hold your breath’ He also denied that The Stones would perform at the openeing of the Olymoic Games in London saying, “When a band starts as a blues band, it always remains sort of true to that.” However, Jagger has no current plans to tour with Superheavy “We haven’t planned to do a tour or anything, but if people really like it maybe we will. We’d love to get out and play some of it live. “As soon as we started playing together in the studio it gelled, and all these different styles didn’t seem to be a problem to make them fit together… I hope people will like it….” ….So perhaps the door isn’t entirely closed " he hasnt booked the plane yet ...ill let u know if he does ..... | |||
