Well, I'll just do places I've lived as I'm not claculting holidays...
So far, with the places I've lived, I've travelled 3,439 miles. After next year when we go back to the U.S. it will be around 7,990 miles. |

"If we are just counting moves, .75 of a mile, from one end of my village to the orher" That is right. I think I worded it wrong from the post, from birth place and places you moved too and where you are now.

Not much.
My cars clocked up 70,000 miles alone since I got it 12 years ago.
I’ve not even started on walking, flying etc. |

A lot; my air mile account currently has a balance equal to 7 business class returns to Japan*, despite regular depletion for 'free trips*' to the US, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Maybe, close on 2 million miles?
Foreign travel, anyone?
*Tax not included. |

Drove from London to Beijing once, that was 14,000 odd miles (very odd, circuitous miles) to start. Then there's multiple trips to Oz and NZ, the States.
Conservatively I'd say 200,000 or so. |

Started in the UK. Lived in Spain and Germany (now split time between the two) travelled extensively in Europe, had a few trips to the far east, Singapore, Vietnam, China, and Thailand, had a stopover once in Bahrain, and done 15 US states plus a bit of Canada.
Tomorrow and Friday will put another couple of thousand Kms to the total as we are driving back to Germany. |

Would need a maths genius to work it out for me.

Visited 6 countries on holidays... Erm quite a lot I think |

Not sure if this counts...
My commute involves Walking to station and back home again pretty much daily, roughly 1 3/4 miles in each direction. About 5 years ago I calculated that, over the previous 11 years I’d effectively walked from London to Adelaide, including over the sea! |

Sorry your all wrong as by far the largest distance you've travelled is due to the fact your sat on a rock in a perpetually moving universe and therefore moving somewhere around 25 billion kilometres a year. |

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour
That's orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it's reckoned
A sun that is the source of all our power
The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see
Are moving at a million miles a day
In an outer spiral arm, at forty thousand miles an hour
Of the galaxy we call the 'milky way'
Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars
It's a hundred thousand light years side to side
It bulges in the middle, sixteen thousand light years thick
But out by us, it's just three thousand light years wide
We're thirty thousand light years from galactic central point
We go 'round every two hundred million years
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe
The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding
In all of the directions it can whizz
As fast as it can go, the speed of light, you know
Twelve million miles a minute and that's the fastest speed there is
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure
How amazingly unlikely is your birth
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth

We're just talking places we've lived in, right?
Born in Paris, France and lived there for 3 years.
Lived 15 and a half years in Shadwell in Leeds
Then lived 4 and a half years in Harehills in Leeds
Then lived 3 years back in Shadwell in Leeds
And now I've lived 7 and a half years in Barnsley
I can't be arsed to calculate that. |
