So often, I work long hours, when I’m not working, I’m spending times with the kids, when I’m not with kids, I’m visiting family and friends. In between all that I’m cleaning the house or I’ve got some other task to do

I can’t remember that last time I had 1 day to do what I wanted to do.

Only I time I take time off work is when I’ve got something that needs doing.

But every now and again, I’ll find I have half an hour or so to myself and I love just laying down with a pair of head phones on and just listen to a bit of music

What does everyone else like to do to relax and forget about the world?

Running - on my own and usually up a hill or two.

Clears my head and allows me to think without interruption

Hide in the bathroom from everyone with a bubble bath, candles and some much needed wine always helps me unwind.

I go swimming if I can't get time or space on my own at home. It's hard to think about what you've got to do for the rest of the day when you're concentrating on not drowning

Occasionally when I do get some time to myself at home I light a few candles and do some yoga.

I have a long bath, in summer I will drive up the mountain and sit at the viewpoint, sometimes sit by the river, lie on the beach, walk in the rain.

I go into my little modelling room and work on whatever project I have on the go at the time.

Mrs N writes short stories.

I like to walk, just walking and taking in the fresh air really helps me, never really knowing where my legs take me until it’s time to return and realise I have so far to walk back
