What impressive non-sexual thing can you do with your hands?

Knitting and crochet. I had planned to make all my own Christmas gifts this year. I'm planning a trip to the shops now instead. I was a little over ambitious and don't think I would be finished by next Christmas! |

Making, building, creating, gardening, demolishing, destroying, breaking, they can be tender and caring or vicious and destructive.
Mainly I use them for bogey mining though |

I totally did! Green and white stars. They were everywhere in our house before the wedding day. I was like a robot....I didn't even have to look at my hands to make them by the end. And they were all 3D. |

Thats would take at the very least 11 and a half days of continuous origami making at 1 per second!
Liar! Punishment, booty pic to my mailbox now |

Math is hard, right?
1 per second = 60 per minute
60 per minute = 3,600 per hour
11.5 days = 993,600
Anyway, it takes me more than a second per star and I made about 2k. I spent many hours on the project. No booty pic for you |

Yes! How about the ones made of plastic straws? I think they're even prettier when put together in a jar. |

under my rock cleethorpes |
My fingers are extremely flexible, I can bend them back from 12 o’clock position to 4 o’clock, I never lose at peanuts
I can also bend my pinkies outwards away from my hands to a 90 degree angle and my thumbs all the way down to my wrists at the front and almost all the way backwards |

I'm a knot whisperer....... I'm told that my ability to untangle bits of string borders on the supernatural.... Also I have an unexhaustable encyclopedia of completley usless facts and information filed away in my head for random conversations..... |

Good thread.
Cook, bake, knit, cross stitch, write, calligraphy (another wedding one here I made my own wedding stationery), play the violin and recorder, basic BSL, but most grateful for healing and soothing (previous life but still get used more than occasionally, particularly useful for sending babies and older to sleep).
Interesting reading everyone's responses.

Reminds me I seem to be good at untangling jewellery too - I get too much practice at this |
