I know this is a sore subject also classed as lazy but what's your thoughts on winks. I personally don't mind them and send if I'm interested. Your opinions?

I love a wink. Great icebreaker. I don't think it's lazy. To me it's just showing an interest.

Some fabulous friendships have developed off of the back of someone sending me a wink.

They’re not for everyone, but they’ve broken the ice/piqued interest, which can only be a good thing.

If not for the simple wink, Billy and I wouldn't be together now.(I winked him, one if the very few I ever sent) So I'm all for winks, as long as there's a decent, interesting profile attached to it, that's give us an idea of who that person is. Nothing worse then getting a wink only to find a profile with no pictures and 'looking for fun' etc as a bio.
