Tis' the season for colds and sniffles.

What foods do you find help clear that irritating cough, sore throat and recover from that sniffly nose?

Anything you hear, old wives tales etc, are pure placebo and trick you into thinking you feel better.

Watching with interest because I’m a fellow sufferer! I did find a huge glass of gin soothed my throat last night

Jack Daniels Honey Tennessey on the hob with fresh lemon juice, lemon peel and a stick of cinnamon.

When it's your throat or just starting a cold I use first defence spray .

Another thing I do is fresh lemon drink with honey it soothes sore throat .

I'm sure I've seen how it isn't a myth.

It comes from the stock from the chicken carcus/bones

I actually found that a bowl of lentil soup seasoned with chili and tumeric seemed to help last night. Definately clears the blocked nose at the very least and stopped the disgusting phlegm from being brought up. Probably doesnt hurt to get more iron into your body either

There is some truth Chicken soup tale.

I always start taking Echinacea & drink plenty of Water. This really does work.
