There are many profiles saying no Bisexual men ,but bisexual women are tolerated far more and most times actively sought.
Given that statistically there is now,no more risk of hiv from a bi guy ,than a straight guy.

Yes it does unfortunately. It's mainly from straight men who think a biguy is going to go straight for his cock. If they closed their eyes they'd probably enjoy it lol.. Having said that, we have had a woman from a couple turn quite nasty once she realised I was bi. Her partner couldn't give a toss but she was quite vociferous about it. We never did meet them. |

Just posted the following on another thread as I think the condition being discussed here is mainly a lack of interpretation

probably why some women are biphobic towards men is less obvious and more interesting than why men are really ..
i have asked a lot of women over the years about whether seeing bi guys together turned them on and the figures were fairly even 50 -50 with only 3 ever saying they were indifferent.

1 some genuinely uncomfortable with the idea of man on man fun and that's cool and must be respected
2 some complete macho nonsense thinking we all 'limp wristed' .. I saw that on one profile and laughed... thats ignorance beyond belief to think we all like that... and as offensive as saying ' no fatties '..but that just breeding or lack of it lol.

Its not something we feel we have to put... I doubt I'd ever drop anything for the sake of a quick thrill.. Others may do, up to them... not judging anyone else, just stateing how I/we feel... Our choice it won't change anytime soon, just no desire to try.....
I'm sure many are more easily led... more liberated even, maybe some would say easier going as a result... but I can assure you lol.. were more than happy satisfied with how/who we meet and how we play.. not feeling as though were missing anything yet lol.. |

we discriminate on size ,shape ,colour,even social standing (yes there is a profile like that ),so the original question really was why do some people elevate Bisexuality in men above the preferences of others,why not just leave it as a holistic decision based on all those factors one of which happens to be bisexuality .

I agree the word bi curious is a bit naff. But there should be a word for those of us who have only just stepped onto that path... bi - possibly maybe?

I don’t think it has as much to do with males being bisexual as others here would like to believe, more to do with people being male phobic, be they bisexual or straight - the evidence for my thoughts are all around us:
NO SINGLE MALES - NO BI MALES shouted in as masculine a voice as possible by couples throughout the site.
As the OP states this is not the case when applied to bisexual women and now that the statistics ‘may’ have swung with the bisexual females being high risk - do you really think that there will be any change in swing trends. If they do I have the shovel for the rocking horse crap.
If this point raised by VIEW is in fact the case, there are many here that should be running for their pc and changing their preferences soon, and I await the attacks on bisexual women that continue to enjoy unprotected sex with each other.

Anyone who knows the story knows it well lol.. The man said he was straight, I always had a nagging doubt.. so paid for yes paid.. for an ad on another site where I suspected he was.. and bingo. He contacted, chatted via msn.. gave away lots of info.. then as the clincher (pardon the pun) drove 70 miles for gay unprotected anal with a man he'd never even so much as seen a picture of... Saw me.. face to face and buggered off (No pun intended).
No names.. still a couple on here, still says he's straight.. So left a bad taste and one we'd rather not repeat if honest... 9 months out from play, tests all very ugly.
Not for one minute suggesting all are the same.. but when you get your fingers burned playing with matches you tend not to try again eh..."
