Sorry... not cream pies or anything naughty sadly.
I genuinely want to know who likes a cream tea?
Iv been speaking to a lovely lady, and when I suggested going for one as a social so (shockingly) told me she doesn’t like them.
Now I don’t like cream and I don’t really drink tea, but when you combine those two things with a scone and jam then you’ve basically created the meaning of life.

Has to be jam first, otherwise the cream ends up a mixed up mess that looks unappealing ![](/icons/s/rolleyes.gif) |

Jam first!?!! What kind of 3rd world county were you raised in...?
That’s like not putting butter in a sandwich just because it all so has mayo in it. Of course you still butter the bread ! |

"I will have scone but just with jam. I don't like cream. The scone also has to be plain and not with sultanas or currants."
My dear, you must try it once. Clotted is the best. I’m not a cream lover myself |

"Love a cream tea.
Pot of tea, warm fresh scones, blackcurrant jam first, then clotted cream.
Best served with the right company "
That’s only because the wrong company would try and flick the cream into your cleavage.
Errr, probably ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

There will be no such behaviour at my table when enjoying one of life’s great pleasantries. Good god man, pull yourself together |

"Oh I love them. Not sure you'd be inclined to want to meet me again after I'd been sat their scoffing them down though "
“Them down” ....?
One assumes you are referring to the number of scones served with a cream tea, usually two, and not saying you’d have more than own cream tea |

"Cream on top.
Vintage china.
I agree with it all. Apart from the word “vintage”.

Why?
I love the old china. It's beautiful. I will admit that the word 'vintage' is over-used... |

The word is now used to sell second hand clothing to trendy kids. What used to be £7.50 for dear old Vera’s coat at the local charity/cancer/heart shop is now £100 quid on eBay because it’s “vintage”. What’s worse is people are producing clothing, as New, and calling it “vintage” or..... I swear I saw some items for sale online classed as vintage because they were from way way way back ....2006.
Thank god we still have the antiques road show |

May I point out that although close enough to enjoy a cream tea together, my age means one can not message you to arrange such splendour |
