I'm watching "Elizabeth & Philip" on BBC1. Prince Harry looks just like Prince Philip when he was younger! 
There's talk of Harry and Meghan having a non-traditional wedding. 
Do you like the young generation of royals?

Their Mum did an amazing job with them, even as a kid myself I could appriciate how she tried to make it as normal as possible.

William and Hentry have grown into fantastic men, considering the heartbreak they've had to endure and the pressure of being under the scrutiny of the public eye constantly.
Diana would be immensely proud, as Charles undoubtedly is. |

I think William will make a fantastic King. I feel that Charles may be a little too old to step into that role now, but I'm not saying he too, wouldn't do a good job. Wish the Queen would retire with Philip and have a restful time. She's worked extremely hard most of her adult life. |

Personally, indifferent.
I'm impressed with those, who through their own hard work have earned respect. William and Charles have an arrogant air about them they don't even pretend to hide.
There is something dignified about the queen I do admire and one gets the sense of duty (above and beyond) from her.
There is something endearing about Prince Harry. He comes across as comfortable in his own skin...he's adorable. If Meghan were my daughter however, I'd say RUN!!! don't look back.
That said, if they love each other, and it appears from what I've seen he appears more into her than she him, then I wish them what they wish themselves.

I don't like any royals. The world's biggest family of benefit scroungers living in luxury at our expense. Amazingly just because of some 'magic vagina' you're entitled to jewels, palaces, untold wealth and servants.

I do like them. I think they've been born into a horrendous life that they can't escape, but they are cracking on with it and doing a great job. And I agree they are keeping their Mum's legacy alive.
There's loads of other people born into wealthy families but they can escape the public life if they want to. Even celeb's kids can go be a plumber or camera operator if they want to. The royals can't. |

Im proud of our Royal Family.
Love The Queen. As an earlier poster put up I hope she 'retires' soon and has a good rest for her remaining days. She has worked very hard for a long time.
Princess Anne I would say is my favourite Royal if I had one. Very hard working. Does alot of charity work. Tough lady as well.
Proud Royalist here if you will. If that's what you want to call me, fine.

Isn't it tradition? I thought all the previous kings and queens carried on 'working' until the day they died. Different times though before our current queen and I'm pretty sure most died long before they hit 90. |

I've seen their lives first hand and they aren't as great as people think. Wealth and privilege, yes, if you like living in a goldfish bowl with very little personal freedom. I wouldn't choose it, even with the perceived benefits. |

Isn't it tradition? I thought all the previous kings and queens carried on 'working' until the day they died. Different times though before our current queen and I'm pretty sure most died long before they hit 90. "
Queen Victoria was 81, Elizabeth 1st was 70 they're the only two I know off the top of my head that lived a long time by the standards of their era.
Most monarchs die in service unless they abdicate or are deposed. |

I'm probably a bit indifferent to the monarchy in general. However, I think the queen is a very dedicated woman. Not many of us will still work at her age.
I think Harry and Wills must be incredibly strong men emotionally to have lost their mother and have her life publicly scrutinised constantly..
Charles is cold, he shows so little emotion or affection, however I do also wonder if he is on the spectrum.
