What would you do if you won the lottery

Love to but I don't have a passport.
If I won, I'd buy my son a house so he was mortgage free. I'd sort my friends out financially.
Then I'd sort out myself out with my own little house with a massive garden for lots of dogs. |

You can fast track your passport application
Where would your first destination be? |

I have no idea. Somewhere sunny, relaxing and stress free. |

I’ve always said that I’d keep working because I’d get bored doing nothing. Recently that’s changed a bit.
The housing people idea is something I’ve considered in the past and given a huge Euromillions win it is something that could start small and develop
I’d get some of the usual stuff too - House, nicer car etc and holidays with the monkey would be no expense spared |

Sort out all the finances of Clan PB and then contemplate my next move aboard a yacht in the Bahamas. One of these will be to find the perfect spot to build my micro brewery/restaurant type thing |

Give money to friends and family buy them each one thing they really wanted. Then put say half into a savings account and the rest for buying a place for my family, then go on a good long holiday.
With whatever is left, probably help people in need. |

Research an area that has a decent population with no real fitness facilities.
Buy a good sized property and open a gym that would rival commercial gyms.
Make it as accessible as possible and hire a small number of brilliant PTs that are focused on client progression rather than filling their pockets.
Whilst doing so, look for a house that is close to said gym and close to a good school for the kiddies. Nothing too flash or big.
Put money aside for the kids educations, weddings, house deposits etc. Invest. Get involved in local projects etc.
I don't have big dreams, I would want our children to know that money has to be worked for, not inherited.. even if they will be provided for.. they don't need to know that until it's time.
Eve. X
Ps- I have always wanted to take the girls to Disney land too, I have never been either so secretly want to go too.
Then a belated honeymoon to Bora Bora or similar when the children are older. |

Retire. Go on road trip across the States, visiting friends there. Then settle down with a couple of corgis in a house big enough to have one room just for kinky fun |

I would sort out all of my families financial issues.
Invest in property an rent out cheap to help those who want to save to get their own house, then when/if I have children give them a house for their 18th to do what thry want with it. I would quit my job but I'd do voluntary work as I'd get very bored. Pay off my best friends student debt, she's now doing her doctorate. Donate to charities like blood bikes an air ambulance as you never know when you or a loved one might need their assistance. |

I would start a factory making solar panels, which would help two groups. Giving jobs to my local area and secondly selling them to the third world, for the one thing they have a lot of is sunshine! By giving them cheap power you can help them power things like hospitals clean water plants ect |

China is currently producing solar panels at costs lower than anywhere in the West. The costs are falling constantly...not a bad thing... and production levels are exceeding global demand.
Not the best basis for a business but I like the altruism of all those who are lolking outside themselves for solutions to problems that damage the lives of those less fortunate than we are.

I’d keep it quiet for while, carry on working (I do love my job). Pay off our mortgage, give some £ to parents for retirement. Then re-evaluate, go part time at work, a dream holiday. I wouldn’t blow it immediately

Wouldn't necessarily pack in the job altogether. Would sort out close family mortgages & ensure close friends were looked after. Renovate the house & maybe landscape the garden. Invest the rest to top up income if I chose to cut back on the hours. |

a quandary, could you change my mind? |
Work my notice at my current job, this will give me time to decide what exactly to do, friends and family would be looked after, then it will be do the things I've wanted to do but not had the chance to do. |

"Quit my job first thing and party for a week then go on a round the world holiday
Who wants to come "
Depends how much I won.
Defo wouldn’t quit my job unless it was in the millions.
If it was like 10M then quit my job.
Nice decent new house, new car

There was a couple won quite a bit on the lottery decided to help out family with paying off their mortgages etc but a few of them got greedy basically asking for more and more money until in the end the couple said "no more money" the family members got really mad one even tried to take the couple to court saying they promised this and that but never gave it to them.
So for us here if it were something like over 100 million then they would get 10k each in a briefcase and told that's it.
Set up a trust fund for our disabled child to care for him for the rest of his life should we pass away and live out life somewhere in the countryside nearby as we wouldn't want to move away from friends etc. |

A world of my own |
Pay off debts
Buy my cottage.
Make a few changes to it.
Invest in a couple of properties to rent out which will double up as inheritance for my boys.
Give some money to some friends
Buy a better car
A few nice holidays
Treat my boys
Some cosmetic surgery
Save for a rainy day
Then back to work. Never having to struggle again. |

I'd carry on working, but term time only.
Rent my house out and buy a bigger more remote property.
Embrace my road rage.
Travel more.
Buy a shit load of new shoes.
Give my Brother the money to move to Thailand.
Buy a B&B/Hotel and allow the armed forces to stay for free.
Save so I can help the children as they get older.
