If a meet doesn't show up on time, how long would you normally wait?
I've been known to wait for over an hour for fear of just missing them if they're running late, but always feel stupid! |

If they contact me to let me know they're running late I can be pretty flexible as I don't meet far from home...without contacting me...15 mins at a push, and I'd be pissed off. Takes 30 seconds to send a text. (Dire emergencies excluded obviously) |

Wow, sounds like I give people far too much leeway! I'd always expect a text or something if they were running late and I think in future I'll cap it at half an hour! |

We waited 25 minutes lastnight for someone with no verifications and we had never spoke to on the phone. We drove 45minutes to the agreed meeting place and had a couple of drinks in the bar. We chatted about how they must of been a fake and how we could avoid getting caught out again next time. Then the blonde bombshell walked through the door and 30 minutes later we booked a room and had a wicked night.
All good things come to those who wait. |

I always ask them to contact me 1 hr before the meet.
If they didnt I wont bother changing.
If they say they are coming late and in constant contact, I'll wait .
If you suspect the guy is a timewaster, ask them to share their location.

I usually make sure where I'm meeting is somewhere in don't mind being, so if it is a no show, at least it's not a total waste..
My last no show, I stayed there for quite a few hours enjoying the band playing in the bar. |

I've only ever arranged two meets on here (the male half) I've waited around 20-30 minutes both times and neither turned up.
Perhaps I'm only smols type? |

I did this today, I'd already planned to meet a friend from work at a local shopping centre for coffee so I arranged my meet for a couple of hours after that since I was there anyway! |

If I’m contacted before hand to say they are running late then I’ll wait an extra 30/45 mins if I’m not contacted and your a no show (happened many of times btw) I’ll wait 10/15 mins then I’m gone, if meeting in a coffee bar and I’ve ordered my coffee and your late I’ll drink my coffee then off I go, been known to show up just as I’m getting ready to leave the coffee shop, guess what I still walked out alone, fact is you could of let me know |

I would always want to wait a bit too, what if they're driving and running late they wouldn't be able to contact until they'd arrived. |

If I'm driving and running late I always try and pull over into a side road or a service station to send a text or something. If I'm at a standstill on the motorway I'll take the risk and send a message. |

" This is what I do and I'd wait a maximum of 30 minutes then report as a no show |

Yes probably what I would do actually, although it cocks up the maps setting on my phone and I'd then be lost too |

15 minutes late counts as a 'no show' as far as I'm concerned. That goes for meets off fab, dates, meeting up with friends, having lunch with my mum,,,anything.
If I can put in the effort to be 10 minutes late then they can at least do me the courtesy of being on time.
If someone's going to be waiting around it's not going to be me. |

Luckily being a couple makes a no show much easier i imagine.
I don't envy singles being stood up. |
