"Fantastic atmosphere there created by the tongans"

that stadium is surrounded by the Polynesian community of Auckland, so they're basically playing at home .

Iestyn Harris is one of the radio commentators, but they are not at the game, I believe they might be in Manchester watching Tv pictures

Excellent first half viewing, that's for sure, - England's defence is immense.

Sounded wicked in Radio5 Live. Another 3 mins and England would have lost.

Great comeback but England switched off, missed a couple of tackles and the Tongans just got a head of steam up. I honestly think we can beat the Aussies but wonder what today has taken out of us. I was at the Final in 2013 where the Kiwis completely tanked after they beat us in that brutal semi. Hopefully history isn't repeated.

Great game tho and proof what we all know on here... that League is the far superior of the 2 codes.

Great game and fantastic advert for the sport . Happy but the last ten min was crazy , we have to play the full 80 against the Aussies

Good game. Shame England can't play for the full 80. But oh well where in the final. Think England need the put in a extra 20% effort to beat the Aussies though.

I didn't think they switched off, it looked like the tank was empty & they were up against a team with a huge crowd behind them giving it everything.

Fantastic game though.
