The station is full of food places, fast food on every corner outside too, and a really neat place in Kings Cross station next door selling really interesting sounding food.... I'll look it up.
Wherever you go in London you're surrounded by eateries. |

"I think they all eat jellied eels down in The Smoke Mr Seeside "
Ace, me ol China, that's blatant racism you Berkshire. .
We don't just eat jellied eels, we also eat pie, mash and liquor..
Anyway, at St pancreas I recommend the Gilbert Scott at the St pancreas grand hotel. It's one of Marcus warings places and the food is real good.
Download the opentable app, you can book a table and get great deals (3 courses for £30 at the moment)
Or for something cheaper, get the train or bus to bishopsgate (Liverpool St station) and head into Spitalfields market, plenty of reasonable food places there. |

NW London |
"They have a food market outside kings cross some days too, my brother buys artisan sour dough bread on his way past.... "
It's called Kerb. It's at Granary Square 12-2 Wednesday thru to Friday. There's also a decent greasy spoon over the road. |

Soho is a great area for food. There's places like Yalla Yalla (middle eastern), Billy & the Chicks (quality fried chicken), Flat Iron (steaks for a tenner) and good bbq places like Meat Liquor and Bodeans |

There and to the left a bit |
Depending which day of the week you are going I'd recommend Borough Market (nr London Bridge and Borough tubes) has loads of market stalls selling fresh produce as well as street food options of every kind imaginable.
If you like a curry then Brick Lane is a good call (not far from Liverpool Street tube) or check out Poppy's Fish & Chips at the bottom of Brick Lane.
To be honest though Seeside wherever you go in London you'll find good food options from greasy spoons right up to high class restaurants |

I went to "the flying scotsman" pub near kings cross, beer was pricey, warm n flat, and had plenty of strippers on or "jack the rippers" as rhyming cockney
Place was a dump with sawdust on floor and torn curtains but was mint. |

It's been gentrified and done up - so beer will be even pricier but no more strippers |

Dunfermline |
We had a day there not so long ago. Wandered aimlessly for food and ended up on regent Street by hamleys. There was a slug and lettuce just over the road so we tried there. Superb food good beer and for the area was cheap as chips. |
