I think those threads are a great way to spark conversation with people you've not spoken to...a lot of my meets have come from the forums and off the back of those kinda threads....
Especially like the face pic ones...I'm a nosey bitch and you lot see my ugly mug all the time  |

I use both, as I’m a regular forum user, and it’s nice to see who I chat with in the various forums  Specifically to find actual meets though? No, as I’m usually too far from 98% of the regular forumites  |

I think most of the people I talk to started from face pic Friday, so it's definitely a good way to get chatting. The meet part hasnt quite materialized as of yet though |

I don’t join the fabbing threads but I do face pic fridays, it’s nice to see others faces although think I’ve seen most that join in on the forums these days |

I've certainly got to know people a fair bit better from these sorts of threads, although actually it could be just the forums in general.
Although it is often nice to put a face to a bum. |

Fab a pic thread no. Just see that as a bit of mutual appreciation. Fpf it's nice to put faces to the poster.
In both cases though for me it's about being involved in the forum actively. Same with the word association that woody runs or the kiss fuck avoid type threads.
I get involved because I find them fun. Forum interaction in general has brought me friends and yes indeed meets in the past. So I guess im always hopefull that something will come of any such activity. Even if it's just a new chat buddy. |

I don't really use either to get meets but I do enjoy it and it's a lovely way to check out who you are chatting to in the Forums. Having said that, I've had faces in my box whom I'd very much like to sit on |
