I’ve just been told that it’s weird that I have a single profile but I’m married?
But surely I’m not the only guy from a couple who has a single profile too, my Mrs has her own and we mainly meet alone, occasionally we will entertain another guy joining us but mainly we will go and have our own adventures separately, are there any other couples here that have a similar set up? |

The problem we have with the couples profile is finding people we both like, which I’m sure isn’t uncommon. |

We had a couple profile two years ago, but didn't work for us for that reason and because we look for different things in our meets. |

Not weird at all. My husband and I have single profiles. Used to play as a couple but decided it wasn't for us any more. We both enjoy meeting separately  |

Not at all weird, if you’re looking to meet independently. I could understand a potential query if the person thought you were looking to meet as a couple, you and your wife, but using a single profile to contact potential meets. |

I agree. The person who called you weird sound like inexperienced swingers!
Both hubby and I have single profiles, and a couples profile for club and party meets. |

We’ve been told it’s confusing that we have a couple profile and still use our single profiles. We are individuals and still think independently therefore we mainly post using our single profiles. We sometimes use the couple profile to post and also for socials. Yes it may be self indulgent as we aren’t meeting others but that’s our prerogative. So the confusion stays as long as we stay within the rules of the site it’s nothing to do with anyone else. God knows what they’d think of us as we aren’t meeting anyone  |

Mrs marmite told me to open a single male profile, that way I can chat to people and interact without her having to join in.
She does most of the posting on our joint profile these days, and if she fancies sending out a message to a couple/male/female then it's her words that would be written.
The dynamics of a couples profile is not as easy as some make it out to be. |
