Now I'm not 100% sure exactly what's meant by that...but it's a statement that gets thrown around a lot in my experience...
Usually after I've said no thanks...sometimes I'm told "you're up yourself for a fatty" or "you women are so up yourself".
Now I'm not being funny...but in order to not be "up yourself" Do you have to fuck anyone who asks and not list any preferences on your profile?
My profile is very clear, but also very tongue in cheek...always amazes me how many people these things rub up the wrong way...
It's not just us fatties or women that are selective is it?!
Feel free to share your rantings..this is all this is...and I do block, report and delete when it happens before those comments fly in...after I've had a little fun with them  |

I see it as a compliment. It means I have standards, value my own self worth and know what I want. Shame those who try to throw it about as an insult don't have the intelligence to work that one out. |

I've had that 'insult' along with entitled, arrogant and egotistical.

In our experience of receiving messages from couples most might just as well be single men! The only "Couple" part is that you are looking at pics of her but talking to him.

Getting a rude reply from a man, well it rather amuses me, but from a couple, another female - it actually upsets me.
I'd always sort of assumed that another woman would know what it likes to get inundated with messages & have a bit more understanding & tact. |

I have never underatood the need to rude or insulting when you get a rejection but it does seem to be more the norm than politeness is arround here at times.
I try not to rely too heavily on fab and prefer clubs for meets due to the ratios of men vs women being so different and out of proportion but when I am communicating through Fab I do remain polite and show respect.
Anyone doing otherwise simply doesn't have the personality I am attracted to anyway so I wouldn't miss a meeting with them. |

Simple fact is that they don't as they are part of a couple and less likely to get rude messages as there is a man on the profile with them. I've had singles and couples accounts on here, people who have been shitty with me on my single profile have been very polite on the couples one. To which my response is to point this out to them followed by no chance of ever meeting and block on both profiles. |

Generally it means that one has an ego where they think they are above everyone else. To be honest, with the way that most men act on here, that isn't entirely untrue, just down to a fact that most of the men trawling this site are dregs anyway |

"You're so up yourself" appears to be the motto of the entitled residents of Fab who wrongly assume that just by signing up to the site they are entitled to be knee deep in sexual encounters within minutes of doing so.
Always makes me laugh that the insults usually fly in a message that was preceded by one telling the recipient how wonderful and gorgeous they are - do these people not see the hypocrisy and contradiction in that?  |

I think men,women and couples are all guilty of getting arsey,when you tell them something they dont like.
Or they become evasive,for example we chatted to a couple,for a while.They added us as friends and talked about attending a club near us/with us.As soon as we asked for a face pic,delete.
We just blocked them.
On my single profile ,i was called frigid for saying no thanks

When I've heard the phrase 'up yourself' I took it to mean someone who likes to talk about themselves all the time, it's all about them, they could literally be fucking themselves, i.e. 'Shit up, your so up yourself'.

Judging by your profile and frequent contris here you're outgoing, can do joined up speaking and have a sense of humour that doesn't involve looking straight at the camera while doing fart jokes.
That pretty much guarantees you'll get your share of dingbats, headtheballs and people who like fart jokes trying to drag you down. |
