Hi I've had an account on fab for awhile,just looking. I've now join as a supporter and was looking for advice.
I've not been part of the swinging scene before, what's the best way to make friends and meet people? |

Thanks, I tried messaging a ladies last night, but by what some profiles say, they might have just been lost in the mass. Do winks, fibbing and adding to hottest work? |

Only way to do this is find out by winking and fabbing and put people in hotlist
Not every one uses the wink thingy
But most do I'm sure

Hi and welcome 
First of all I would suggest a profile revamp. I assume you filled it in when you first joined and things may have changed since then as you are now looking to meet people. There are many threads already where others are asking for profile advice, just do a forum search. Pick out the good bits and see if any of it can help you with yours.
Fabs, winks and hotlist?
Well nobody knows when you add them to your hotlist unless you tell them. It can be a useful way of keeping track of others and some people use it as a "not list".
Winks can work but many just ignore them, I do. I would rather someone send me a message if they are trying to get my attention.
With fabs you get some people who actively seek them as they want to appear in the hot pics. Others don't bother too much about them and some turn off the facility to fab their pics.
It can be very hard for single men to get replies to messages. Don't let this get you down, just keep trying. A great way to get to know people is to go to an organised social event. These are usually advertised on the forums and there is a separate section for meets and events.
Stick around on the forums and get involved in the fun. We are generally a friendly and welcoming bunch although disagreements do happen sometimes. Only a small percentage of fab users actively use the forums but people do meet from them and it is a great way to make friends.
