Hen 10 of the 12 UK companies use divining rods?
Divining, a medieval practice, thought to rely on the ideomotor effect, id no better than chance at finding water etc, based on numerous scientific studies. Meanwhile the companies are losing millions of gallons of water because of broken pipes etc. |

As i understand it, the price they charge is constrained by a regulator and they don't make especially big net profit margins. If those assumptions are correct then it's not exactly surprising they aren't the most innovative of organisations. |
