I gave up and started waxing. It hurts less the more you do it.

I find coconut oil best for shaving and usually mens razors are better. Exfoliate first as this helps with irritation and lots of moisturiser after

"Wax wax wax!"

Ouch! No thank you

OP I think it’s supposed to be better if you use hair conditioner as your shaving cream although I’ve never tried that so not sure how true it is!

A xx

somewhere

I found baby oil, men's razor and done in the shower works best but prefer waxing where possible

I always use a Gillette Venus razor and I find the more often I do it the less irritated I get. Might not work for all but worth a try.

I use a mans rotary shaver, it gets a good close shave with no nicks. And also use a cleancut shaver for going over it after. Gets it nice and smooth with no pain!

Bun

If you combine a wax, with a bungee jump, it's very effevtive.

Using an epilator is another option.

I tried waxing. Whole street heard me screaming lol. I struggle with teeny stubble when shaving. Can never get it smooth enough

Maybe screaming the street down is worth another try

I don't shave completely because of the irritation when it grows back, so I just use clippers and have it trimmed really short.

If you do shave it helps to shave downwards first then back up, helps to avoid the bumps.

A world of my own

I use conditioner and try to do it daily so it doesn't really get a chance to grow back in too much. However if I'm in a can't be bothered phase and I leave it a week, then I do it with gel.

I find you need to scrub the area to stop ingrowing hairs.

"Wax wax wax!"

Totally agree with this. And yes the first time is going to bite. If you keep on top of it after that it does not.

Another one to recommend waxing, although I’m traumatised, my beautician has moved away and after an incident where I got really quite bruised, I’m a bit scared to try anyone else. So as much as I advocate waxing, I’d always get a recommendation
