When did you last buy a DVD or CD, in this digital age are you finding yourself buying less tangible formats and going for online content or download direct?
I haven’t bought either for quite a few years now but find my vinyl collection is increasing, mainly cause these sound better. |

If purchasing a film on sky and getting a dvd sent out counts then pretty recently. I no longer own a DVD player but there's an Xbox that can play them. I only listen to the radio or music channels, never figured out download things for iPods etc. |

There and to the left a bit |
I prefer having a tangible format of something I am going to "own" whether that be CDs, DVDs or books - the only exceptions to that being if I "rent" or stream a film/TV show through Sky/Amazon or if there's a single music track I want to buy by a particular artist.
One curious oddity I have noticed with Amazon however is the difference in price between their hard copy format for CDs and their downloads - the hard copy is more often than not cheaper than the download copy (e.g. bought The Black Keys last week for £5 on CD - the download format was £8.99) and with "Auto Rip" as soon as you have pressed "Buy" on the CD version you get a download copy anyway!! Go figure?!

I thought I was the only one with an Xbox to play dvd's on.
I still buy cd's and dvd's. I'm too old for this cloud download stuff. |

I'm old school and probably will be for a long time to come. I'm not really up on this whole downloading and streaming technology anyway. If I'm going to be buying a film or some music or a book then I like to have something that I can physically hold. The only thing I'll ever download is the odd song that I can't find on CD or some porn (usually vintage stuff which would be hard to get hold of any other way). |

"I've got my betamax ready for it making a comeback...
I've got a copy of 'Porkies' on Beta' if you want it?
Yes, just for the gym orgasm scene "
That section of the tape might be a tad stretched |

I still buy cds rather than download, although I rip them to ma pc and then put the disc away after I've read the blurb on the cover/booklet type thingy with a magnifying glass
Although I still play ma vinyl collection occasionally, I think they are too expensive nowadays |

vinyl is too dear nowadays but thats where record shops come in, and if you know what youre looking for there is always a bargain to be had, stuff like an original "let it be" for a quid |

Prefer to digitise my CD collection myself. Still buy collectible blu-rays as well.
I am using Apple Music currently free on EE to check out music I might like. I’ll revert to a Spotify once the free period is over, since I can use that without subscribing for how I use it. |

I don't mind digital music, I don't care about having a CD or anything.
I'm a lot more selective with blu-rays these days than before. I only buy big movies that I'll want to keep, star wars etc, this kind of big films. |
