I once saw something I can't explain late one summer evening just as it was getting dusk about 12 years ago, not saying it was aliens but it left me and my mate saying "what the f**k was that?!" and walking home at double time!

Then we'd have to discount the thousands of witness testimonies by airline pilots, gov officials, army, navy, air force, drs, solicitors... There's literally thousands of witness testimonies of UFOs by completely respectable professional people with nothing to gain, then you have to take the hundreds of video footage and narrow that down to the 5% that's unexplained that still leaves a hundred, take all the historical evidence from cave paintings to buildings that are unexplainable to the civilisation that we think built them and just say everybody is mental or imagining it?....

I'm not saying that's impossible, I'm just saying it's more likely that there's something more to it!

There was something stationary and quite big up in the sky a couple of miles from where we were, I thought it was a helicopter at first as it was near Bridlington and the search and rescue used to be out a lot, but then there was a bright flash like a camera and it was just gone! I'm sceptical about visitors from other planets and nor do I believe in ghosts or anything like that, but it was definitely odd and put the shits up us a bit!

There are roughly about 12 different varying creatures reported around the globe, they vary in height, looks, skin colour, aggressiveness, eyes...

These are reported from China to Brazil to Europe.

There's thousand year old cave paintings from Australia to south America to Europe all depicting UFOs, this isn't a modem phenomenon

A friend of mine used to live in Aquique (sp?) in Chile, right on he edge of the desert, and he told me he would look out of his apartment window and every few days or so you’d see them out there. Sometimes there’d just be one, sometimes many. Sometimes just balls of light, sometimes you could see the actual craft itself...

There’s tons of videos on YouTube if you search for UFO’s in Chile

If I fired myself high into the air out of a cannon, I could well be classed as a UFO ...... until they found my splattered remains after landing, - then I'd have been just a FO.

Air force & space program testings will probably be the main reason for these 'UFO's' imho.

Fermi's Paradox.

The physicist Enrico Fermi famously asked 'Where is everyone?'. The theory asks why, with billions of stars and many far older than our sun (the Big Bang happened 14 billion years ago and our sun is 4.5 billion years old), and planets circling these stars, has no life developed interstellar travel.

We'd be mad to think there isn't other life out there somewhere, perhaps more intelligent on a planet that has existed longer than ours...

However, UFO's, Yeh get real..

If they came here, they certainly wouldn't spend all their time sticking probes up the arse of red necks!

Boscombe down used to be a hot spot for sightings but when you consider that just up the road is a defence research establishment that deals specifically with aviation... it doesn't really take the brains of Einstein to work that out.

The strangest species on earth is the human race. We've evolved like no other animal using choice and intelligence to build, communicate, invent and discover like no other animal. In 400 generations we've proven to go from ape like Neanderthals living like animals in caves to what we are today, splitting the atom and leaving our planet to visit and colonize other worlds in space. It would not surprise me if we found out that Humans are sporned from a visitation from out there.

I see time as a giant compressed slinky, we are stuck going along it's length, Deja-vu, ghosts etc could be where a tuned in mind (of the past, present or future) has managed to make a jump along the slinky? Maybe UFO's are the device used to jump across from one spiral to another?

A UFO is an unidentified flying object. Of course there are thousands of these. They are all either man made or natural. So yes I believe in UFOs, do I believe in sentient aliens visiting us from other planets, no. I'm sure any species that has cracked faster than light travel has also figured out how to evade our detection. If there were such aliens, they would either be benevolent, meet us and share technology (hasn't happened), passive observers, or if they wished us harm, they could do that quicker than Russia invading Georgia.

To implement control over the government. Heard us up like sheep. Work us to the bone. 24 hours in a day. Allow us only 4-5 hours to the day we can call are own time. Earn money to go about doing things we don't enjoy doing you will spend your life completely wasting your time doing things you don't like doing. In order to go on living that's is going on doing things you don't enjoy doing

That's like using neanderthal thinking to solve how we get to the moon.

Any life 1000 years more progressed than ourselves will be beyond what we can imagine.. Then think 10.000 years ahead 100,000 years a million years or a billon years!!!.

So you think they have visited and humans have seen them flying about? Or you agree with me that they would be too advanced for that?.

I suspect the universe is teaming with vasts amounts of life from basic to very very advanced.

I believe the evidence would suggest that something other or others is and has been visiting earth for probably long before homosapiens came about.

So you think they are advanced enough to have figured out faster than light travel, but not smart enough to turn off their running lights at night? .

Do humans insist on not being seen while doing wildlife documentaries?.

It helps us observe to be quiet in the background but in the end were not really bothered about it either way.

The furthest mankind has done is send probes into outer space and that would seem the safer option for any living entity, we could have been observed but I dare say while there is life out there it is way too far away

It wasn't so long ago(100yrs) that people thought flying was impossible.

50yrs ago that man on the moon was thought impossible.

If we've advanced in travelling so far in such a short time then why not an advanced alien civilisation travelling from another solar system?

When I was about 12 my cousin and I saw a ufo hover over out head no more than 100 feet up and slowly moved away

Needless to say it had a profound effect on me and I only told a couple of ppl over my life

Anyhoos I lost touch with my cousin not long after and only recently met again at a family function

Turns out he remembers nothing about this at all, zero, looked at me like I was crazy

That was nearly as amazing to me as seeing the ufo in the first place,if I saw it at all

It's as real a memory to me as any I have. More so even cause it's not everyday you see a ufo

So either I imagined it and I really believe I didn't,my cousin just forgot about it which I doubt anyone could or he got the works from them as in anal probing or whatever they do nowadays and I was not. Or I was too and I just remember up to seeing the ufo and forget the rest

For what it's worth I have no history of seeing or imagining anything else in my whole life

But they have been buzzing around for us for 60-70 years, but only ever seen by a few people at a time, not thousands or hundreds of thousands or more. Imagine if a massive spaceship flew down the Thames or the Hudson or the Seine, how many would see it? But no, they chose to fly about at night (but with lights on), in the countryside....

"I can't believe we are the only planet with life form on. "

Nor can I...... but the ridiculously fantasmagorical distances in space make it extremely unlikely that any would have visited.

Despite thousands of “claims” over the years (mostly only since the era of science fiction and the advent of flight).... there is still to be just ONE credible piece of evidence.

In all fairness, there's always one dickhead who forgets to turn the lights off. I'm sure aliens have their pillocks as well.

Or maybe they're going dogging? Wouldn't that explain the flashing lights bit.....?

Maybe there is a website, Fabaliens, where they post their meets. Which dogging site tonight? Earth. Near Maidstone. Flash your interstellar landing lights.

You'll find 14 blue aliens crowded round one UFO watching a pink alien taking it up the food expulsion pipe whilst having her 18 nipples played with.

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

My daughter asked the question yesterday all parents dread...

"If the universe is ever expanding , what is it expanding into?

And how can something that doesn't exist in the first place go on for infinity for the universe to expand into? And what was there before the big bang"

That just made my head hurt a little more than the traffic jam I was sitting in already had...

But it does point out some fundamental facts, light from the furthest galaxies has yet to reach us... possibly, and no one can pin point the location that was the centre of the universe because it's ends are unknown and therefore it cannot be triangulated, only guessed.

So it got me thinking, an infinite void filled with gasses, the basic building blocks combines and goes bang throwing debris out, therefore, whatever seeded life on earth did the same throughout the entire cosmos so life elsewhere will exist..

But there isn't a single shred of evidence that alien life has ever visited earth.. Oh we have cave drawings that could be of aliens but then the Hindus worship some amazing looking gods.. those depictions are just a figment of over active human imagination...

There are many weird and wonderful natural phenomena that some people are lucky enough to witness maybe one in a lifetime but just because you cannot understand it or comprehend it does not mean it isnt of this world..

As a species we are still exploring and understanding our planet and how it came into being and there are still many things we will discover and previous theories that will be found to be inaccurate.

Tesla, around 100 years ago proposed how an anti gravitational flying machine could be built.

The Nazis experimented with this technology during ww2. This technology uses immense amounts of power and is hugely ineffective.

Following the war, it is known many German scientists ended up in the US working of various projects so it isn't inconceivable that their work continued spawning all the sightings of flying objectstart around secret government establishments..

Russia too ended up with scientists, so similar there with sightings.

Neither side would want talk of new military advancement, stories of aliens are a good way of hiding those advancements and experiments.

Now, not just governments but private sector companies attempt to produce non propellant propulsion and uavs, again it's not inconceivable that odd objects may be seen in our skies.

Google Beijing UFO and you get results about a bridge made of glass. Google Mexico city and the top result is video from a single source, not thousands as you claim. If you look at the wikipedia page for UFO sightings for the whole of Mexico, one of the entries of 300 UFOs turned out to be geese. Google Brazil UFO and the top result is this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varginha_UFO_incident an incident where 3 people said they saw an alien.

Maybe proof of extraterritorial life doesn't make it to the top of the Google rankings?

It's not the reportings you can explain away that are followed closely but the 1% that cannot be explained away!.

The week long swoops over Belgium in the 90s , the radar confirmations from both land and aircraft, the visual sightings, the acceleration and movements, the eyewitness testimony from everyday citizens to mayors of city's to senior airforce crew to media reporters.... That's one incident in many many unexplainable incidents.

As for ancient cave paintings, well they certainly could be over active imaginations or primitive people but then "we" can't really explain the pyramids of Giza or pyramid building in general for a 5000 year old civilisation, we certainly can't explain statues of god's looking Asian in Bolivia or Mayan in Cambodia, either were fundamentally wrong about how advanced ancient civilizations were or maybe we're barking up the wrong tree to begin with... Something's will never be fully explained and that's quite wonderful to the inquisitive

"It stands to reason that in all that vastness of space, we can't possibly be the only living planet. UFOs are possible in that they might have a travel technology far beyond our understanding. "

Why does it stand to reason? Have you calculated the probability of a solar nebula being injected by a supernova?

Your bullshit about Beijing, Mexico City etc. have been proven to be bullshit, so now the proof is in Belgium. If Belgium is the most convincing proof, then why didn't you mention that first?

you are the one who gave examples of UFOs where there were only single witnesses or sources of evidence. You picked the evidence. If it doesn't stand up to scrutiny or support your arguement, that's your fault. "

.

Well the head of the French CNES(French NASA) investigative branch which published 1600 cases that spanned five decades suspects the evidence is substantial enough to conclude some small percentage of those cases will be genuinely extraterrestrial!.

"A UFO is an unidentified flying object. Of course there are thousands of these. They are all either man made or natural. So yes I believe in UFOs, do I believe in sentient aliens visiting us from other planets, no. I'm sure any species that has cracked faster than light travel has also figured out how to evade our detection. If there were such aliens, they would either be benevolent, meet us and share technology (hasn't happened), passive observers, or if they wished us harm, they could do that quicker than Russia invading Georgia. .

That's like using neanderthal thinking to solve how we get to the moon.

Any life 1000 years more progressed than ourselves will be beyond what we can imagine.. Then think 10.000 years ahead 100,000 years a million years or a billon years!!!.

Type 1 to type 2 to type 3 and beyond the only thing stopping visitation is relative obscurity, were a small needle in a very very big haystack

Right.... .

Your presumption on their intentions is that their bothered about being seen?.

I'm saying I don't think they are, the numerous sightings by astronauts and thousands in city centres world wide would suggest their not bothered

But they have been buzzing around for us for 60-70 years, but only ever seen by a few people at a time, not thousands or hundreds of thousands or more. Imagine if a massive spaceship flew down the Thames or the Hudson or the Seine, how many would see it? But no, they chose to fly about at night (but with lights on), in the countryside.... .

That's simply not true, there's been numerous cases from Mexico city to Brazil to Arizona to Beijing of "thousands" of people seeing and reporting the same phenomenon!.

Let's see the pics and vids then .

They've been reported on state TV in the countries involved, just look for yourself.

Maybe proof of extraterritorial life doesn't make it to the top of the Google rankings? .

Yves sillard , he headed CNES for years and ran the cometa report along with French generals and other high level scientists!... I'm just reading what some experts in they're fields are concluding after examining the evidence!.

The evidence is there, you can either just say "we have no idea what it was or how to explain it" or you can conclude it's "possible" were being visited by extraterrestrials

"I don't believe that any are visitors from another world."

I agree, as I view it as so unlikely, based on distance, their motivations and nothing having been achieved and known about.

Distance is only relevant at our technology level!.

Do the Badgers I'm recording in my garden with a night camera know my motivations? Why don't I tell them? , Were separated by a vast amount of intelligence and I presume it to be pointless in doing so

There is huge amount of evidence that people, even highly credible and qualified people have been seeing unidentified 'things' flying around the sky for many years, even going back hundreds and thousands of years.

The problem is that extra-terrestrial theories hold no water due to the simple facts of time and distance. Unless other lifeforms have overcome the problem of travelling vast distances very quickly it doesn't seem possible that we have aliens wizzing around our planet every day.

Time; humans have been around at best 2 million years. The way we are going we will be lucky to last another 1000 years. The possibility that other lifeforms are at the same point of development is negligible.

The unimaginable vastness of the universe (the one we know anyway) makes the meeting of species practically impossible.

The badgers, although not particularly bright and with poor eyesight will be perfectly aware of your night vision cameras having been placed there...

At first they would have stayed clear of the odd smell now there bit over time, realised they posed no threat.

Unlike most humans, badgers are not very intelligent, not even having evolved to the point where they know how to use tools (crows using stones to break snail shells, chimps using sticks to catch ants)...

Humans have evolved and are aware of their surroundings and some look to science for explanation...

Phenomena that cannot be explained is no different from a neanderthal being afraid of a comet in the night sky.

There are many natural forces we still do not fully understand and that defy to a degree, some of our understanding...

Most cutting edge science is based upon theoretical science which in its nature is based upon an idea.. history has taught us that many famous and accepted theories prove to be wrong so I would say to keep an open mind to science otherwise you may well just go and hide in a cave and draw pictures of little green men on the walls...

For sure I reckon, but they are probably just like us, that will never advanced far enough, they will probably ruine their planet before they reach the technology needed to travel far into space

We do not need the whole universe, just the Milky Way our own galaxy.

Gene Roddenbury knew back when writing Star Trek that travel between galaxies even at the speed of light or 10x faster was still impossible. Hence for all their warp factor nine, worm hole mishaps (Voyager) they have never left our galaxy.

Lots of mobile phone cams now but doesn't seem to be any clips or pics knocking about.

You'd have thought their would be if ufos where visiting us.

Everyone's got a camera these days. Which proves no ufos no ghosts no monsters no miracles. We live, we die."

There are zillions of pics and videos on Youtube, how much evidence do you want? Try visting Mufon's website. Their is no evidence because you aren't looking. You have to be in it to win it.

Think you hit the nail on the head with that.

There will always be people who believe otherwise. There is a huge following of a lot of conspiracy theories, that doesn't make it true.

Some believe the Earth is flat and many believe in God. That doesn't make it true or mean that God exists.
