Anyone else hooked?! (those who are will get it )
For those who aren't it is crocheting little stuffed animals. I've made a giraffe so far and am half way through an elephant.
I'm also crocheting a unicorn cushion for my nieces Christmas present.

I crochet but it's not something I've looked into doing.
I tend to get slightly impatient with my projects if there not finished by a deadline.
I've just been given a huge bagain of wool today and I've been good I've only kept the stuff I know I'll use the rest I'll donate.
I really want to get some of the huge extra extra chunky wool for arm knitting toale a blanket but the i saw cost

I knit Arans as I love the challenge. I knitted 2 as a wedding present. They were thrilled to bits as they both ski and could appreciate the work that went into it!
I crocheted squares for blankets as a child but fine knitting more relaxing.
Try demores for wool. I bought there lots and its good and not too pricey. |

Haha I crocheted one last year for my FB as a joke Christmas present. I couldn't find a pattern so I made it up as I went along |

If you can do amigurumi have a look at octopus for a preemie, they have groups on Facebook.
It’s tiny crocheted octopus and jellyfish with curly tentacles which are given to preemie babies. It means they get comfort from grabbing and pulling the tentacles rather than pulling out their tubes and wires.

I have seen those on Facebook. Will definitely look into making them as it's a good way of distracting myself from nibbles in the evening lol |

I had a go and struggled with the technique needed and the smaller than normal hook. I knit more than crochet so I’m probably a bit out of practice |
