What will we be wearing in 30 years?

Think of your grandparents, people of that generation would lounge around the house wearing clothes more formal than I even wear to work now. My grandad usd to wear a tie to paint the fence!

When I get home from work I change into a pair of jeans, yet kids only wear those now if they’re going somewhere posh, like Nandos

Bare midriffs only existed on the beach or on model’s photo shoots back in the ‘70s and ‘80s yet now it’s common while going shopping.

Where will we be in 30 years time? Will more and more revealing clothes be worn by younger and younger kids?

I’ll be in a grey cardigan by that stage so it won’t be a problem, but how about the next generation? Does it worry you?

Doesn't worry me ... I expect I will be pushing up daisies by then

I don't think there's too much scope for getting to wear less, some of the dresses some young girls wear are barely decent. I think it will reverse and they will cover up more x

Think people will be wearing the same clothes as now. We are wearing clothes from the 80's and 90's now and the naughties don't really have a style of its own.

Agreed! Fashion and music will come full circle eventually! Saying that though I dont think people were walking down the catwalk with hats made of their own hair 30 years ago.. Ive been wrong before though!

Yep, I tend to wear clothes to destruction and some of the stuff I have has been in and out of fashion a few times!

The same pants I'm wearing now. I like to be frugal.

I'm still waiting for globalhyper colour t shirts to come back, they'd be awesome to wear to the gym to make sure you're working hard!

Clothes will be like digital projections generated from our mobile phones....wondering what might happen when the phone batteries run down tho!

Bham

It's either gonna be meggings for men. Or everyone will be wearing baggy clothes again, it's all figure hugging these days.

Remember "Trip to Eclipse" clothes from around the same time with cartoon pictures of druggies on? I thought I was a proper bad man in those

Central

Rags due to widespread poverty, with recycling of earlier fashion and a laissez faire attitude, unless you are in the workhouses

Yeah I had a black coat with a white silloette of a guy smoking a spliff, and my mother bought it for me!

I also had, wait for it, a dreamscape bomber jacket

shits creek

My goal us to be wearing a rainbow velour tracksuit and a pair of Reebok classics in 30 years... if I'm still here of course.

I reckon I'll be way too senile to care what the youth will be wearing
