hand around the U bend job and pull most of the blockage out - don't push it through as it might block up further down and be more expensive to clear. If it's clean round the U bend, it may be a block further down and you might have to get the service hatch cover off and check to see if that's blocked up, or whether there's any water flowing down there... hope that helps ya

Wire coat hanger flattened and shoved vigorously round the bend works a lot of the time. Good luck! |

No good if you haven`t got one but I`ve seen one of those old fashioned mops used like a plunger. As well as putting pressure on the blockage, it forms a vacuum as well. Just plunge the mop up and down in the bowl! |
