If you fancy some thing savoury first, you could put butter then Marmite, then peanut butter then cheese, then toast it.
Finish with a second piece with just butter, peanut butter then some jam.
A two course meal with a pudding!
Butter always first though, silly! |

You are all weird... peanut butter is for making monkeys look like they are talking...
And this thread,
If you butter the bread before toasting it, isn't that fried bread?
You cant lick peanut butter off a naked person, naked bodies get stuck in the toaster.
Strawberry jam goes with clotted cream on scones never on peanut butter.
However I am liking putting peanut butter on marmite, then you can put both the loathsome articles in the bin together

The perfect Peanut Butter on toast:
Take two slices of multigrain bread.
Toast until golden brown.
Spread a thin layer of good quality uunsalted butter.
Fry 3 rashers of thick cut wiltshire cure bacon.
Fry,or poach, two duck eggs.
Place the bacon on the toast, place the eggs on the bacon.
Apply a dollop of HP sauce on the second piece of toast.
Open the jar of peanut butter, place at the bottom of the garden. Add 2 cups of unleaded petrol and stir to an even consistency. Apply match.
Enjoy your toast, warmed by the glow of burning peanut butter.
