I agree 
I much prefer the company of men.
I work with nearly all women and some of them really never shut the fuck up 
They're the boring mumsy types that like to talk at me about their kids and what boring activities they did at the weekend
They seriously need to bore off!

I was a very quiet child. A teenager and adult who spoke to friends and family when necessary.
My husband used to complain on long car journeys, because I stared out of the window and didn't speak.
Now, I can't seem to shut up. It's like someone opened the flood gates. I think my brain has changed. |

I dunno if this is tongue in cheek or not but it's actually true. I had a woman talk to me on the phone for nearly 3 hrs once. Keep in mind I never met her and she wasn't a friend. The conversation wasn't important either - work, what she was eating, TV etc... I had go charge my phone during the conversation and she'd ask what are you doing now? "I'm on the phone to you..." |

I tend towards quiet in person. I talk in here because I can think through what I want to sayour.

I remember standing in the school playground, listening to the other mums talking, and thinking what a load of crap they talk about. I used to stand on my own, even when family were there picking up their children; I still do that now I pick up my grandchildren.

Sometimes, especially at work, it is easier to go on to mute and say nothing.
