I think ive been rumbled by a family member.

A little while ago, i read on the forums, a post about if you saw someone on here that you knew would you say anything, if so, how.

The general feeling was depends but if people were going to say anything, they would use the word Fab to describe something. Not an everyday word....but not out of place either.

Well, a certain family member has been using that word recently, and its not a word they usually use.

There and to the left a bit

I think you're reading too much into it to be honest - it's of course possible they've seen your profile and as you have face pics visible would recognise you - if they have, and they remain discreet, then no big deal, even if they don't, they were obviously on here too to have found you, so again is it really that big a deal?

It could of course just be it's their latest vogue word they've picked up from somewhere and started using.

Either way no use worrying over it unless it has a direct impact

Having public face pics probably wasn’t the best idea.

Saying that, it takes two to tango. How would they know unless they had a profile too? They’d be outing themselves in the process. Unless they use the cliche of ‘their friend is on here’.

Anyhow, just roll with it, put your best poker face on and if you’re asked outright, just laugh it off.

Good luck.

I got 'rumbled' (seen) on here by my niece.

It's now a subject of conversation and occasional laughs.

I don't see that there an issue if family know

This topic crops up regularly, I find it perplexing. It’s almost like it’s a fetish for some to be ‘outed’.

I agree. Some people just like being on a power trip, armed with this knowledge. Just bizarre.

Just remember there are two types of people on this planet...

Those that are swingers and those who wished they were.

Fab - it's an abbreviation of a much longer word, it's quick and easy to use and is a positive word.

You could just be over thinking OP.
