"I'm only asking because it's been over a year since I graduated yet I still have nightmares of being behind on assessments "
The only nightmares I remember at uni involved alcohol and girls. |

Mrs N's stopped the moment she got the results of her final project and knew she had the credits to graduate. So I'd say yes, it will end. Perhaps you're regressing to times you think you may have done better perhaps? |

I think you might have a point there. |

"I graduated 20 years ago (mature student) and believe it or not I still sometimes have dreams about flunking/missing my exams. Honestly "
It never does leave you |

I miss my Uni days. Seriously considering going back to do my PGCE... I miss it all, the lectures, the assignments the deadline pressure..... the discounts, the free McFlurry... the discounted council tax...
The uni bar. Graduation, and te fuss that was made. I still have my graduation video....
Being an Alumni is not as much fun |

I graduated 8 years ago (WHAT?!) and have still had the occasional nightmare about not starting my Final Year Project and it being due.
We must be suffering from P.A.S.D - Post Academic Stress Disorder |

Never even thought about it since I graduated, though in all honesty wasn't overly traumatised by assessments and examinations when I was there.
Done the odd bit of post grad work here and there, still no nightmares.

"Ours won't go to Uni
Waste of money in our book.
Sorry just our opinion."
surely its their choice - unless that is what they have already decided - both my kids are in high earning careers - both say that they wouldnt be this far up the ladder if they didnt have the degree under their belt |

"I've never quite understood those that go back into education later in life. Surely once through the mill is enough "
Loved it - both times.
Don't understand anyone saying its a waste of money. The amount required to pay back is a drop in the ocean for most graduates, most decent jobs now require minimum UG degree if not post grad qualifications. In addition it's a great life experience broadening horizons and young people's perspectives in many ways. Especially if they move away from home to go. |

I used to have a recurring dream of being in my final exams having not revised but haven't had that for some years. Think Uni stress dreams fall into the general "anxiety/insecurity" bracket. Once something else has stressed you out to a similar extent, you will start dreaming about that instead! |
