We all read up on many things and after all no-one likes going somewhere if its shit or bad customer service!
The single male thread at clubs got me thinking (yeah i think lol)
Do you go somewhere and make your own mind up not reviews or do you listen to others and not go if they say its "shit"
and do you join in discussions if you have never been and just going from reviews

I always try myself 1st, someone's definition of shit for them might be fine for me.
I was told don't try Gourmet burger in Exeter it's crap but I really enjoyed it. |

I'd take a balanced view and read through a number of reviews rather than just taking one word for it - so if every review said it's great, then it might sway me to go, likewise if pretty much every review said something/where is rubbish then I may well avoid.
If the reviews are mixed then if it was somewhere I wanted to go then I'd go along and make my own mind up.

Having worked somewhere where we get negative reviews at times, I've come to learn peiple exaggerate an awful lot and make up lies in a misguided effort to get free stuff. They want compensation for their "terrible experience"
People throw a strop if they don't get their own way and feel the need to lash out.
I'll make my own choices, and then, if I have a negative experience, I can't say I wasn't warned. |

I would go and make my own mind up....a night at a swingers club might be different depending on the people that were there....a meal in a restaurant can be hit and miss depending on which chef or staff are on....it's all about the people in my view. |
