Iceland, but Aldi is closer.. |
Either shaved or au natural on a lady, as long as the excess is trimmed. As my granddad would say "no one likes to see the old Holborn hanging out".
As for guys, I always think a shave tallywhacker looks like a plucked chickens neck, but then I ain't really a connoisseur of mens appendages.. |

I like to match the girl, if she is bald I like to be bald.
If she is neatly trimmed I like to be neatly trimmed.
If she has a big bush, I like to have a big bush.
Really annoys me a lot when they dont match. |

"Shaved, unless you like picking hair out of your teeth the next day"
Now be honest- how many times has that actually happened to you during your active sex life? In the 35 odd years I've been sexually active it's never happened to me - sure the odd loose hair might get in my mouth, which if irritating enough is quickly removed in a second without fuss before carrying on.
To answer the OP - no preference here at all other than what the person I am with prefers |

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest |
I prefer shaved around the vulva on a lady. Makes giving oral more pleasurable. Pubic area can be trimmed or shaved, either way.
I tend to have pubic area very shortly trimmed and cock/balls smoothly shaved |

I don't really to be honest - whenever a thread like this crops up there inevitably will be the comments along the lines of yours - but as I said in all my years of being sexually active I've never experienced anything other than the mildest of mild discomfort if a stray hair has irritated the back of my throat and it's quickly and easily dealt with.
It's of course fine to have a preference either way, just find it somewhat mind boggling when the "mouthful of hair" comments are rolled out - usually in a derogatory way. |

it's a ladies choice.
if the lady has a bush(soo rare..soo missed) and the guy wants her smooth then he's got issues.sinister ones.
this rule also applies to guys who want to give anal sex to a woman who's not keen but coerced.closet case.

I'm generally not going to turn anyone away purely on the basis of hair. But I like hair.
I've had a set of particularly fluffy tesictles in my mouth. It wasn't an issue (no extra flossing required). I'm more likely to gag on an overly soaped smooth cock.
I've had trimmed ladies (or perhaps a little grown out) but never full on. I woukd, though.
I'm currently enjoying a spot of winter plumage. Maybe i'll keep it |

On women, well if anyone knows me at all then they know I absolutely love the bush. The look. The feel. And the smell is just tremendous. Oh the smell Nothing comes remotely close to that. A woman can never be hairy enough for me |

I prefer S trimmed as bald just looks weird
On myself I let it grow to a certain extent then get annoyed with it so shave it all off but on other females I'm not too fussy as long as it's not too wild where I feel like I'm eating hair :P

"Said it before, don't understand why people want to have a prepubescent look, neat and tidy, absolutely. "
See I don’t get the “pre-pubescent” argument. Adult genitals still look like adult genitals, with or without hair.
My preference on men is trimmed and on myself it varies. Sometimes neatly trimmed, or waxed, a Brazilian or Hollywood. Rarely shaved as it plays havoc with my skin ( and I regret it everytime I do it ) |

I like people to trim, shave or not as they choose rather than do what they think they should. Confidence goes a long way.
Personally, I prefer some hair. I tend to trim above and shave sides and below for meets.
Bald just feels wrong...

I don't really like bald genital areas on adults. It looks weird to me, and feels weird too, but I don't take any notice if it's all off. Stubble is off-putting though.

It's hygiene not prepubescent I don't want a pubic hair in my throat
And some people aren't as hygienic as to shower wash every day |

I see the "it's not the 1970s" and other comments as a form of body shaming.

It bemuses me how 'the 1970s' is always chucked into the mix on threads about pubic hair as some sort of body shaming reference. You'd almost imagine that at no other time before or since in the history of the human race have people had pubic hair
To be serious I'm sick of the body shaming which perpetually arises on these threads. It works both ways of course but there does seem to be a greater number of insults aimed at those who keep their hair. Personally, these days I'm usually hairy to a greater or lesser degree rather than smooth - because my skin reacts badly to every last method of hair removal down there and funnily enough I prefer not to deliberately hurt myself too often. It's actually quite distressing to think that *some* rather ignorant people therefore imagine I must be unhygienic. Nothing could be further from the truth, but it's still unpleasant to see that misguided view regularly repeated here. It shouldn't need to be said - yet again - but it's an individual's personal approach to cleanliness which makes them unhygienic, or not. And not their pubic hair choices! I've been made aware, in clubs, a number of times - and thankfully not in an intimate manner - of people with bad breath and/or B.O. Yet I later saw the people concerned had no pubic hair. There really is *no* correlation between hair/no hair and being clean/unclean. |

Interestingly I was treated at the emergency gynaecology department this week for a very painful condition called a Bartholin abscess. Apparently it’s quite rare, affects about 1% of the population. I must be extra rare as it’s my third occurrence in just under 5 years! The consultant that I saw told me that there is no treatment to prevent it happening again but told me in no uncertain terms that shaving pubic hair can make women more susceptible to getting them and to stop immediately.
I actually prefer to shave, it feels more comfortable but I’m taking the Doctor’s advice seriously as I can’t bear to go through this pain regularly |

There has been much research on the matter and generally the medical experts agree that keeping pubic hair is better for you in numerous ways.

head hair is far more at risk of uncleanliness than fanny hair...
shock!
no spoonheads on here!
if youre not a bonehead then dont preach how cleaner your fanny is. |

Reading this thread, like many others on Fab, it seems people get very aggressive in their responses.
Personally I prefer a bit of hair on a lady, but it’s not a deal breaker. Variety is the spice of life! |

"any woman on here who pitches for a totally shaved man is a pervert.end of.
Happily a pervert then. If being a pervert means I don't want to pick pubes out of my teeth, or have them tickling my nose, then so be it
blocked.
coward.
pervert."
Lmfao, oh no. I'm blocked. I'm utterly devestated and distraught. However will I ever continue meeting men on this site now |

Trimmed or none for a woman is preferable, I've got stubble/beard, I don't want to get all stuck like Velcro.
For a guy, I personally trim/shave I simply feel tidy when I started to do that |

"Enjoy your pubes I'll enjoy silky smooth....."
When you debate a point one doesn't send a nasty e mail then block the respondent before a chance is given to make a coherent reply!
Childish at best crude at worst! |

I love giving oral including rimming, so for me public hair gets in the way, so if it's hairy you are not going to get the best of my abilities.
=SMOOTH as possible please & no hairy bum holes. |

Love my hair, shaped up front, closely trimmed down center. I have lots of hair on my head, it matches... symmetry! Wouldn’t feel sexy without it.
Like males trimmed, with a tuft of hair round the shaft... for the tickle
Not shaved... prickles on your privates are awful. As are razor bumps/ingrown hairs
And it turns me on... grown man sexy, it’s natural masculine goodness and oooh cause I’m a weirdo... I think playing with the hairs on your bum is really sweet too

"Really can't understand the current fashion for looking pre-pubescent, natural or lightly trimmed every time."
Really can't understand people who equate how people manage their body hair with being pre-pubescent.
Do you cut your hair/shave armpits/shave facial hair/pluck eyebrows etc. etc. ? |

There and to the left a bit |
To be honest I really don't understand all of the ridiculous arguments that are rolled out on both sides every time this type of thread arises - on the pro-shaven side you have the hygiene (complete fallacy) argument, the hairs between your teeth one (never actually happened to me in 35 years of being sexually active) and other just as silly statements.
On the pro-hair side of the house you have the pre-pubescent argument - which again is ridiculous given we're talking about grown adults and their personal preference for how they look as individuals.
It's fine having a preference either way, but I do wish people would just accept that it's an aesthetic/personal preference on the part of the individual plain and simple, and not resort to borderline body shaming with some of the points being made in support of their own preferences. |

"Said it before, don't understand why people want to have a prepubescent look, neat and tidy, absolutely.
It's hygiene not prepubescent I don't want a pubic hair in my throat
And some people aren't as hygienic as to shower wash every day
Cleanliness has nothing to do with pubic hair or lack of it.
Nita
Oh it does
So if someone turned up at your gaff showered and smelling nice but had pubic hair you would pass him or her over for a play mate who had not showered that day but was pubic challenged?
I only meet in clubs......
And I've never seen anyone there with pubic hair ......I've been to clubs and have public hair....never had any complaints "
Same here |

If you mean me then I have my hair cut and trim facial hair.
As for prepubescent, I did say the "look" ie before the growth of pubic hair.
If you didn't mean me, sorry! |
