written inside the gideon bible i was near recently was a hand written message to read the following verses - Hebrews 13 vs 4-7
" Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."
gave us both a giggle , especially as neither of us are married ...but we werent so sure about the sexually immoral bit

It never ceases to amaze me how the church is ever ready to tell us how merciful god is but still enforces the edict that if we transgress god's rules we will burn in hell. How fucking christian is that!
I have a challenge to make:
Dear God,
If you can appear before me now, in human form and tell me tomorrow night's lotto numbers - to prove you exist like, which I know you can do coz you sent Jesus down here to tell everyone to niavely turn the other cheek when some feckin asshole wants to smack ya round the chops (like der, how dumb is that nonsense!).
Well, if you can do that, appear to me, right now, with the numbers, I'll check myself into a clinic to get my head examined. Deal? |
