The thing is we can and do all see things differently, we all have a right to project our views on reality, it's just a good idea to be aware that not everyone will have the same views that we do... I loved the chase as a younger guy. Bit longer in the tooth now so less enthusiastic about chasing. Kind of a been there done that attitude. Doesn't mean that I won't put effort in with someone I do like. Just that there are more signs nowadays that I look out for that will make my mind go don't bother trying with this person.

I know where you're coming from. I think I've been on here about five years now and have only slept with three women from here in that time. One of which I'd see several times a week and we were mutually exclusive for approximately eighteen months.

Never had much patience for "the chase", to be honest. If I get the impression that she's not making enough of an effort to "meet me halfway", I'll write her off as a timewaster and look elsewhere.

Take the loss and move on. Different people require different approaches, just preference. Some guys like also enjoy exploring the mind so a “come fuck me” attitude may not quite what they’re after. I hate the hunt/chase. I am someone with little confidence and clueless enough to need a brick through the proverbial window to know a woman wants to sleep with me. I personally think it's empowering. Us British have such a hangup on sex which used to be celebrated. It was only deemed 'naughty' and 'slutty' as the original contraceptive.
