How stupid am I?
1: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star has the same tune as The ABC song. Took me about 22 years to figure that one out.
2: Cupboards are so named because they are literally boards you put your cups on... that one only took me 24 years.
3: There used to be a blind shop near my grandmother's house. We would drive past it, and I always thought of it as an accessory shop for blind people. One day I realized, it was a blind shop, as in curtains and blinds.
4: While camping I spent 5 minutes looking for my flashlight with my flashlight.
5: That the laundry detergent I had been using for 9 months was actually fabric softener.

I've been known to stand out side our house pointing my car key at the front door and wandering why the house isn't going 'clunk'.
Have walked home from the supermarket then realised I drove there.
On one occasion when kids were nursery age I forgot I had one of our kids in the car as I parked up at work.

I just tried the same and was thinking "What? No they're not?". Then I realised I was humming ABC by The Jackson 5 
I popped in to Tesco earlier on my way home from swimming, was walking around with a nagging feeling "you're forgetting something! you're forgetting something!". Got to the checkout, didn't have my wallet. I am not having a good night  |

Here's one most blokes will have done.
Decide to clean the u bend under the sink....so you put the washing up bowl underneath it as you take it off. ..water drains into bowl with all the shite in u bend. ....then what the feck do you do with all the shite and dirty water?
You got it....pour the fecker down the plug hole with no u bend attached..ffs |

Then sometime i catch a cab to somewhere and forget and and later think its been stolen.

While watching a premiership football match I remarked to a mate how odd it was that they should be unable to sell the all of the advertising boards around the ground so they had to put up ads from "Joe Bloggs Jeans".
My mate couldn't help but hoot with laughter.- What I thought were dummy ads just to fill space were from the biggest selling brands that year. Doh! |

I once had a friend tell me you can't melt a Flake chocolate bar so put three Flakes in the oven at a party and totally forgot about having done it so cooked 3 Flakes for nearly 4 days on Gas Mark 6 |

When I was a student there was a lad who lived in our shared house who’d never cooked before. He bought a Fray Bentos pie to eat the first night he was there and asked us how to cook it. We told him to heat it up in the oven at the temperature and for the time suggested on the tin, allowing 10 minutes first for the oven to warm up.
He duly did this and blew the door off the oven. We forgot to mention taking the lid off the tin the pie was in at least |
