My libido is definitely slowing down...
In my twenties I was preoccupied with sex....
These days I can go days without thinking about it......I actually find that quite liberating...
Yeah...the image of seventy olds having an orgy are kinda erm...I was going to say squalid....but thats not what I mean..mabye less dignified....

I don't think it's an age thing really. Everyone gets old, so there will always be people the same age as you are. Afterall, all the playmates are getting older too.
I think the time comes when it stops being fun anymore, you don't get all tingly on the way to your meet.
This isn't always an age thing. Some people just move on to another phase in their lives.

Sadly the attitude of out of sight out of minds prevails on this island...
Quite sad really..
I`ve no experience of nursing homes etc..but wonder at the attitude that exists within that care industry...
Do they welcome the fumblings of the geriatic, seeing it as a human need or desire...
Off topic I know..its not something thats spoke about very often... |

When I finally retire, which will be probably around the age of seventy the way things are going, I intend to fill the suddenly vacant 70 hours a week I usually spend working with allsorts that I don't have enough time for in my opinion right now. I'm going to put my weight training routine into overdrive for a start, sessions fitted around 15 hour days will instead become four days a week but fully body workouts averaging 3 hours a day as I will finally have the time to get my body to as near to what I want as possible.
I'll spend a couple of hours each day doing things with the house and garden so its exactly the place I want to live in pretty swiftly rather than work in progress. And most of all I'll finally have the time to indulge in all pleasures of the flesh that I would like, rather than getting rare days off with not much notice that I have to somehow squeeze meets into. Viagra exists and if I happen to need it in my seventies I have no qualms about using it!
