How are men measuring exactly?

I'm a little biased on what "hung" actually means and I know that, my boyfriend is a bit on the bigger side at about 8" (hung like a horse as some men from here who have met us say) so I know I'm spoiled right off of the bat.
But I get messages all the time on here asking if I could handle their dick. With usernames like hungtop or vwejoeblogs. Saying it's about nine, ten or however many inches but when checking or asking for pictures it's very obviously... Smaller than him.
So I have two questions, the first is. When do you all generally consider a guy "hung" and second. Where do so many of the men on here get these measures from!?

They *should* measure in Ariel mode, run the fabric tape measure from base to bell and make sure it starts on zero.
Circumference can be taken around the thickest part of the penis.
Trust and believe me I've had many guys tell me they're 8 or 9 inches and absolutely will not accept it when I say its below that. |

The way it is medically measured is under the "bottom" of penis, not the top where you measure to the bottom of your tummy, but from the tip down the bottom side, down into the balls.
Most people are bigger measuring this way. But women expect a top measurement, cause if youre 8 inch on the top, but tell girls you are 9 they will call you on it, even though you might be 9. |

It's a pain though, I've been let down quite a few times.

They should also use centimetres as using imperial measurements only is against eu trading standards |

I was about to say even health publications say to measure along the top of the penis, not below.
The below measurement is what a lot of people call vanity measuring for obvious reasons.

Mine’s so tiny I offer the use a magnifying glass to find it 
I find a micrometer screw gauge and vernier calipers are what I need to measure it accurately |

However for medical reasons, and the official stat, and standard way to measure is under the penis, pushing into the ball to where the penis ends.
They dont measure how much it will penetrate the woman, but how big the organ actually is.
However if youre a big guy you probably just put it on a table beside a ruler. See 7/8 inches and think that's the length, but its not.
this creates a bit of a problem, because there can be a difference of an inch or so in the two measurements, and the bigger one is the actual size of your penis, the smaller one is how much it will penetrate a woman. |

It matters quite a bit, I can enjoy sex with a smaller person especially if they make up for it in other ways, but I have never been able to cum from a smaller dick alone whereas with bigger dicks I'm like a lil fountain~~ not to mention the fact that when it gets too deep and hurts a lil it just drives me nuts.

I've not measured mine but I know from being on fab that it's average but if I was to measure it it would be along the top and not from my butt hole

I think a mans 8inch is longer than on the ruler haha.
I'd never refer to my self as hung cos well I've seen dicks on here and elsewhere longer than my arm 
But at 7" I'd say I have a nice pretty penis |
