Have you seen the price of Freddo’s now!

30p for ONE Freddo, it’s a joke!

What do you find has inflated too much in price in recent years?

Bollocks, sorry but it just is! Successive governments have used used petrol as a cash cow and New Labour introduced the price/fuel escalator to drain the cow even further.

No...2400mm x 1200mm but for some reason the builders merchants has delusions of being American or is stuck in the fucking dark ages.

I got them to cut it for me. Gave them the sizes in mm. The guy proceeded to work out from his tape measure what the measurements were in inches to set the saw up that clearly had a gauge in mm. The whole world has gone fucking mental... not to mention the price of things

Sorry

Bought my first house in Nottingham in 1981 for £13,500 , a modest 3 bedroom semi detached in need of a bit of work . Did it up in 3 years , sold it for £21,500 and moved down here . Got a place for £35, 000 sold it 3 years later for £46,000 and the same house sold last year for £289,000 .

It’s any wonder so many people are never going to own their own house any more .

There are ways to do it, can live in a council house for a few years then use the right to buy scheme to get a mortgage at a decent price ( just getting the property initially thats the issue)

Also there’s bank accounts where you deposit like £6,000 for three years untouched and the government will give you x amount alongside for your first home
