I tapped a co worker on the shoulder 7 years ago,i feel so ashamed,i feel now that i must leave my job,my career,iv got all paranoid about it and now started to wear gloves,or keep my hands in my pockets so i dont touch anybody inadverenly

You joking ? No way he will be on prison for that.
If he touch a women inappropriately then only his hand will be chopped and 500 lashes in public place. They are not that rude or uncivilised to put someone on jail for touching a women. |

Not that long ago a work colleague felt the leather on my shoe. Should I report this or suggest that she removes it along with the rest of my clothes at the next opportune moment? |

I saw an old gentleman staggering by the side of the road. My immediate reaction was to reach out and steady him... but I resisted it... Phew!! That was close!!
The bus that hit him killed him but on the bright side i was able to wash the blood out of my jeans and avoid public ridicule on social media.

It's a tricky one as you don't want to encourage sexual harassment but there's got to be some common sense about it at the same time.

Here’s the rub (oh lord) if I or any of my friends are in a Work place and something inappropriate occurs, I would expect the issue to be raised, the work environment is created by everyone there, if you let things slide (errrrmmm) then it’s downhill from there, now there is banter everywhere and long may it continue (I have previously worked in a factory full of women, they can hold their own) what’s apparent in all the media is the fact that power is everything and if you work in that environment then you yield to that power? That’s what’s wrong..... did these ladies in the Weinstein case say nothing because they thought it would damage their careers? In that case they have dug their own grave or have they? In 2001 Winona Ryder got caught shoplifting and effectively her Hollywood career is over, now you have a 27 year old man (spacey) being rightly vilified (if true) for touching a 14 year old boy, but the media started off by brushing that allegation aside and announced spacey is coming out as gay, there is the problem right there, the power brokers think they are above the law, those working for and with the power brokers will do anything to stay within that circle, including letting inappropriate behaviour slide, people should stand up for themselves and if it brings Hollywood and parliament down at the same time then that might make a decent film |
