"I'm an accent slut. I tend to like the accent of whoever it is I want to meet at any given time.
That describes most of the forum users and their preferences at any given time. "
Haha true |

"Don’t know why but either Newcastle or Yorkshire "
I'm (male) from leeds and Chief is from Newcastle, it's rare to see a Yorkshire accent mentioned in these threads.
So thank you for making my day. |

"I like how people are just saying Scottish, Weegies should never be allowed to open their mouths, whilst a St Andrews accent gives you a good impression.
What I'm saying is be more specific :p"
My family are spread far & wide all over Scotland - the Weegies are the posh side & don't sound at all like Rab C Nesbitt |

I’m a Weegie. What’s your problem with Weegies? Also, what is it about a St. Andrews accent that gives you a good impresssion? |

Does it have to be a British accent?
I think a Deep South USA Southern Belle voice is sexy as F.
Try saying South Carolina,in a South Carolina style accent and see if you agree. |

Isn't saying you like Irish, Welsh (insert county here) a bit like saying you like English, theres a massive difference between s southern Irish and N. Irish accent, and Glaswegians sound nothing like highlanders! Just as cockneys sound nothing like geordies |

This, to a tee. All accents can be incredibly hot in the right context. |
