Some scientific types have worked out that folk respond to different forms of stimulus and communication better if it’s given in a certain way. They have put them into the Visual, Audio and Kinaesthetic categories. Some people will lean more towards one than the others and there are a few who are balanced across all three.
Which one are you?
I’m more visual, lingerie with the lights on in front of a mirror in a position where I can see everything is just perfect! A little dirty talk is good but too much just puts me off, touching is good too but it’s nice to see what’s being fondled!! |

Neuro linguistic programming...more junk science!
VAK theory supposes people respond to and this learning better when the information is presented in their preferred learning style. It's been debunked.
Bit like, as mentioned, left and right brained thinking....mind gym and other crap.
Buddy. |

Wtf does it mean.
I had to do a VAK test for Uni. Came out as kinaesthetic, audio.
Meant fuck all because you still study via the same methods as everyone else.
When I became an NVQ assessor I had to deliver the VAK test. Meant fuck all because the evidence still had to be collected through oba, work products, essays and questioning to make the evidence viable and validated. |

Thing is cognitive psychology right now would have you believe that CBT is the cure to 80% of mental health problems. It's not. It never will be either. CBT is the current "flavour of the month", and before long will also be debunked by a newer "more practical" theory by a different bunch of psychologists.
Learning style theory and NLP do still have their place when enacted with what cognitive psychology teaches.
To my understanding it's a lot about what a person believes and feels to be true. A really crummy way to conduct a science, but in psychological terms there's never going to be a "one size fits all" theory, or set of theories there in. |

I'm a visual/practical learner. I see something and I think I can understand how things are done, a little practice and I learn/master it quite quickly. I like to thank years of gaming and eye to hand co-ordination training. |
