I know we’ve only started November but they take ages to organise and the bitching is spectacular so I thought I’d float the idea now

Do we want to bother this year? If so, how do we want to do them? Last year we had nominations for categories. Then nominations for people once we had categories and then the final vote.

That was a ball ache and I’m wondering if we can do it better this year or whether it is what it is.

I think it’s the only way to do it, to let new people especially to feed in ideas of categories etc. Different people could handle different stages so it isn’t a ball ache.

It is but we support their egos and benefit from the knowledge that they are there because we put them there. That's cool though as some thrive on the lime light and need it, some of us don't and are happy watching in the darker corners of fab. Come over here with and let's watch the fanfare.

You can suggest whatever you like but the nature of the forum is that people who frequent the place regularly get to know each other pretty well.

Anyone is welcome to suggest categories or nominees for this sort of thing but I guess you’ve got to be in it to win it.

Last years awards had over a hundred nominees across the various categories and I was amazed by the responses so you never know.

Nobody is stopping anyone from posting in the forums. Those that post regularly will be known more.

It’s like being a regular in a pub or only popping in every few months.
