So recently I had a clear out of my friends list, removing the profiles of people that I have not engaged with for some time.
To my surprise one lady took huge offence and messaged me asking "how dare you delete me"... When I explained that we never chatted so could not really see the point in being friends I was sent a mouthful off abuse.
Why do people take things so personally!?! |

I do the same. If we don't speak and have no intention of meeting each other, what's the point. My profile isn't wank fodder, which I know it's been used for in the past |

Sometimes it would save other site members a lot of grief from women/men like this if they could be named and shamed for their insecure nutty behaviour...I know this is not possible...but hey,,,, |

If people don’t have face pics in their friends only pics, then I delete them from my friends list.
You don’t need to be friends to read my profile so I’m never sure why people want to be friends on here and why they get all funny when you delete them |

If i am added or add a person in my friends list i try to keep in contact at least once a month. But if i dont get a reply then i know they arnt really friends and deleate them. Out with the old and in with the new. |

That's exactly how we feel.
We've recently made most of our pics private and we are brutal in blocking anyone who looks at us who is unsuitable. We're blocking around 100 a day now. |

There are some real nutters on here i had to get a male friend on here to answer my phone after having 30 miss calls ( with held number )off some one who wouldn't take no for an answer he was ok when we first met but didn't like the word no not counting the amount of times id had answered saying not to phone me again he was deleted too |

That's exactly how we feel.
We've recently made most of our pics private and we are brutal in blocking anyone who looks at us who is unsuitable. We're blocking around 100 a day now."
I do this too... If I see on the profile comments like "No married men" "Looking for BBC only" or "weekend meets only" then I will block. Not to be rude, but to avoid sending a message at a later date without thinking. |

It's amazing how easy the few can spoil it for everyone. When you are left second guessing and questioning people it is no longer fun for you or them... |

Yep, nearly everyone who I’ve deleted as a friend has noticed pretty much straight away even though they’ve not been in contact with me much previously |

I delete if contact dies out, if either side decides they wouldn't meet or if we are unlikely to cross paths again at a social. There may be a few exceptions to that rule, but not many. |

I had a clear out of all the people I don't chat to recently. I kept all my Forumite buddies and a few new friends and people I have met and want to meet again. It was a rather large cull and I did get a few snide messages, but I'm past worrying what people think. |
