Really isn't living up to what I thought it would..... in fact it's pretty bloody boring,I just can't be arsed with making an effort to get all dressed up and start from scratch all over again and possibly waste another 20+yrs.... maybe I'll feel differently when summer comes but now all I want to do is cwtch up in bed and watch a good film.....single life sucks!!!! |

I think it goes in fits and starts - sometimes the freedom is intoxicating, other times the sheer effort of doing everything on your own is exhausting. If you feel like cocooning yourself away and watching films, do it, please yourself with no-one else to tell you what to do |

Dunno what to say really other than the grass is never greener on the other side . Life is never perfect, there are people out there that have every thing but still not content and there are some lucky people out there that are content when they appear to have nothing. |

Been single a number years due to shit relationships etc..
Not something I planned on and not that I enjoy.

I’m not good at being single to be honest. Even when I have been, I have had men within my life either as friends with benefits or just friends who I could watch films with, go out for meals with etc. I’m still friendly with a couple of my ex’s too- and enjoy spending time with them. |

Been single for 8 years now. After the first valentines, Christmas and birthday is out of the way as a singleton you just get used to it!

The worst thing about being single is the lack of sex on tap, the lack of snogs and the lack of manly cuddles/groping.

I rather enjoy the single life, lots more space in my bed, no one talking to me unnecessarily and I can watch what I want.
The effort of trying to find someone for a relationship is just not something I am prepared for at the moment. |

I've only had one serious monogamous relationship in my life, and I actively enjoy being single... my time, space and money is all mine, I have no one to answer to and I'm free.
I plan to stay single until I find the exact right person instead of getting into a relationship where I end up only having lukewarm feelings for the first person who comes into my life, or feeling that I need a relationship to complete me. |
