Oh she is. Took me ages to realise it was sasha from the walking dead. Amazing what a wash and a bit of makeup can do

For me I feel it's an ok programme not quite star trek but still quite good. What always gets me is for a series that's supposedly set 10 years before star trek TOS why is the tech so much better? Also the Klingons just aren't right!

Tried episode 1...and it didn't get me like next generation or voyager did.... it didn't even get me feeling nostalgic which is the least I expect...and yep, the klingons take some getting used to.

I finished watching Glitch earlier.

Excellent series so thanks for mentioning it on here. I wouldn’t have known about it otherwise

Long-time trekkie and I'm sticking with the new show although I think it's pretty bad. The last couple of episodes have been a little better but too much makes no sense in the wider Trek universe.

Enjoying The Orville from Seth McFarlane more but it's not out over here (officially) until next month.

In terms of ranking the different ST series I find myself in a difficult position to place them in a definitive rank. Each was zeitgeist in its time. The original series with Will Shatner et al broke new ground in terms of special effects, storylines, character development etc. However despite my personal preference for STNG with Patrick Stewart, having two daughters I made sure that they were exposed to Voyager with Janeway as the lead character, an excellent female role model for two young girls!!!!!!

I’m getting more into Discovery now the story is unfolding. The one I love is the Orville. In fact I’d say it’s much better

Don't like it.

Don't like the pc aspect of it.

Don't like the the black woman...didn't like her in Walking Dead either.

Don't like the filming and lighting.

Stories are rubbish.

Loathe all the characters.

Given up on it.

Phew...that felt good!

Thank you for giving me the platform to vent!

That’s unusual. I found it very dark. I’m more for TOS of course. First episode I saw was trouble with tribbles. I was hooked!

Quite enjoying the new show, it's not really proper star trek yet but I guess it's aimed more towards the current market. The last episode with the time loop was proper trek tho, The last episode with the time loop was proper trek tho.

Ahh, like miss tress, I need to vent.

Firstly I hate Michael, she is so unlikable. And the actress is shit. Hated her in the walking dead too. The faces she pulls in discovery are ridiculous.

That ginger one is so annoying.

I ain't no prude but I don't believe fuck belongs in star trek. They're more enlightened than us.

Almost every character is annoying. I only like the captain really.

It makes enterprise look good.

The first few episodes I was not sold, but hopeful it would get better. It hasn't really. Although I thought the time loop episode was the best one so far, I quite enjoyed that one. Haven't watched this week's yet.

The klingons, what the hell are they all about?

I was really looking forward to a new star trek, and am pretty disappointed with this. I wish they went and paid Ronald d Moore whatever he wanted to make whatever he wanted.

Thank you, it's bugging me for weeks trying to figure out where I'd seen her before.

Been watching the episodes as they come out and have been thoroughly enjoying it.

That's not true. If you have watched every star trek series especially deep space 9, then you will know of section 31.

Odd complaint. Star Trek has always been about diversity. And having a woman as the lead is hardly over the top 'PC'.

He must have found the only sterile Tribble in the galaxy, otherwise the ship would be overrun by now
