Well that was a fucking stupid thing to do,get off your bottom right now and throw the cancer sticks in the bin screwed up!
Your body will thank you and be able to breathe in fresh air,you can do!
Clearly I'm someone who hasn't smoked,so don't know how hard it can be to give up. I just hate cigarettes. |

You stopped once.
Today you may have crumbled.
It's not the end of the world but you already know it's not what you want or you wouldn't have posted.
No one giving you a kicking can change what you do. It's your choice.
So forget today throw the fags away...
And tomorrow just start again..
Good luck it's never easy but you know you can...
So just do it. |

I've been off them for about 2 years, not even had one on the very rare occasions I've drank, I hate the smell and taste of them now but tonight it was like needing a piss! Had to have one or I'd have screamed.
Not happy with myself. |

Stopped overnight 17 years ago, wasn't long before hated the smell of them. Got to the point of not wanting to go to the pub because of the stench on my clothes the following day. |

You're not back on the smokes. You had a set back that's all. You don't have to keep smoking just because you had one today.
A defeatist attitude won't help. |

Your not happy with yourself so get a grip and stop again.
Yes an ex smoker who has had the occasional relapse. Non in 12 years and lots in the last 6 months.
The odd one isn't so bad in the whole scheme of things if you continue now and make it back into a habit then you have a problem. |

"Not happy with myself."
That's as good a motivation as any to get back on track tomorrow.
Are you able to work out what made you so desperate for a fag that you caved in?
Where did you even get it from?
Can you avoid these situations for n ow till you've stopped properly again? |

I gave up 21 weeks ago and can now only have one when out drinking just to be sociable of course.

Why don't you sit there and set fire to a £10 note. I'm sure you would only do it once. This is ineffectively what your doing. Your health your choice but you will smell, have bad breath, have health problems eventually and terrible teeth. Hope that helps you stop again. |

"Stupid boy
Don’t beat yourself up, it can take many efforts to quit for good.
Start quitting again tomorrow, have today as a lil hiccup! You can do it!"
Sorry Captain Mainwaring
I'm more angry with myself as I haven't had any real craving until now, thought I wouldn't ever again.
I'll need to eat Haribo every time I feel like one now. Maybe this was just an excuse to eat more Haribo... |

Oh and I gave up smoking over 30 years ago and still crave a smoke now and again.
If someone like me who can't just stop at one chocolate biscuit can resist nicotine cravings then I'm damn sure you can. |

You’ll have random odd cravings for years. Every time you get one, remind yourself how well you’ve done and eat a whole bag of tangfastics |

OP don't beat yourself up over it. Tomorrow is a new day. Just because you had a relapse today doesn't mean you are a smoker again.
Start afresh tomorrow and forget about the ciggies. Today's relapse doesn't mean you are hooked on them again.
If you are getting cravings try a sugar free sweet/mint or a glass of water and the craving will pass.
You've succeeded in being a non smoker for 2 years so you know that you can do it!

Come here and I will slap your arse, you naughty boy. Don't worry though, it's only a temporary lapse, get back into it tomorrow morning. I,m on a diet and Thursday I ate 2 donuts, a big pack of revells and a bar of fudge. But I went back on the diet Friday. The same applies to smoking, it's just a glitch, get back on the regime in the morning xxx |

How was it - that first ciggie after 2 years?
I bet it was disgusting!
I gave up about 2 years ago too - and have had intense cravings recently
I haven't given in - so you can do it too.
You're paying a fortune to stink and kill yourself.
Manky! |

It wasn't nice at all, but at the same time killed the craving.

I gave up in January but went on the vape. I've had some pretty stressful things going on and last month I smoked. I've had the occasional one since then but it's the same packet and the tobacco in the cigs is very dry now! |
