God that sounds horrific. I hate running with an unbridled passion.
Physical things aside have you any chance of working with a mind coach? I am guessing that you will feel like giving up about a gazillion times throughout the run. |

Go to the doctors I'm sure there are tablets you can get for that craziness.
In all seriousness join a bloody good running club you should have built up to this distance first a full marathon then 30.35 40.45 so and so on.
Takes years of training and endurance to take the ultras |

That is a bit far for a first one. However, the best tip I was ever given is to eat REAL food early on. Get those calories on board before you start to get hungry. I always found it hard to use gels and other sweet things to give me energy so real food is essential. |

I’m guessing it’s a multi day thing? Self sufficient? Lots of kit?
If so, forget the 184 mile bit. You need to build up the amount of time you spend on your feet. Also experiment with food/drink early in training.
And think about kit now if you can. |

What's the furthest you've ran so far? In all honesty a multi day of that distance if you aren't already capable of running marathons on consecutive days it could be a huge ask to get that sort of endurance in your legd |

An ultra is anything above marathon distance and can be anything from 28 miles to multi days with miles and miles.
I’ve only run one but I’m going to enter another next year and I want to do the Fire and Ice ultra in Iceland in 2019. |

I've ran two marathons in a two day period before I run everyday ATM between 16 to 20 miles a day my main concerns come from past experiences in long distance cycle where I can hot the wall after the first hundred miles
My biggest weakness is eating enough food beforehand and eating whilst running! |

"Plenty of carbs "
Actually
Train to become fat adapted you can travel twice as far on a gram of fat than a gram of carbs xxx
Fat adaption takes time and tenacity but is a very powerful tool in your endurance tool box
I have been known to spend over 15 hrs in the mountains with only 200 grams of nuts and a water straw xxx |
