I don't really care for veris. I appreciate they show a person is real or turns up but for me its much more about getting to know someone and trusting my gut.
Therefore I don't ask nor offer them although Im happy to give them if asked. So no. I wouldnt Fuck for something Im not bothered about. |

Being a single male here who was part of a couple, the difference is staggering.
Obviously women get bombarded with thirsty guys and the genuine ones get lost in the maelstrom.
It takes a lot for a single to stand out especially if he's got no Veris. |

I think veri’s are far more important for men than for women or even couples, men really have to prove themselves in here and I like to think us ladies know who the “genuine” ones will be when reading mail. I have veri’s but I don’t display them as I don’t feel the need and at the end of the day we still get threads about people being stood up by verified people so what do they really prove? Not much  |

Yeah I totally get that. I think for me i see so many guys post things about getting the first veri "out of the way" that it makes it seem like their first meet is a chore they have to endure to open the door to others. Like anyone will do just to get that tick?
I totally accept that this view is a minority one and am in no way bashing single guys, I just prefer to chat to people and judge them on my own instincts regardless of how many veris they have. |

I once made a second profile (it was for a laugh in chat and it clearly stated on it that it was just an account to look at a cam). It wasn't even photo verified and had no pics. Within the first day it had over 150 mails. |

I've had a single profile, and before I uploaded pics or added anything substantial to my profile, I had countless messages telling me how hot I was, how my profile sounded just what they were looking for - so yes, all a woman needs is vagina to excel in any form of online hook ups. |

I wouldn't ever say it's a chore or something to be endured. Personally I'd be happy meeting one person and keeping something going with that someone.
I have all the time in the world to feel the right connection with someone.
Until then I won't settle.

I've been here seven years and still surprised how much stock people put into verifications. Personally, taking into account the opinions of total strangers as to whether I meet another total stranger for sex is absolutely ludicrous to me.

Don’t really like veri’s that much tbh, having loads really puts us off, yes it shows your genuine but large numbers of veris also shows you sleep around lots rather than keeping to a select few, increasing the risks of catching something nasty |

You joined Fab 2 months ago, and have one verification already. What you may not take into account about verifications is;
1) When you’ve had a profile here for over a year, your profile says just that ‘member for over a year’, which could actually be 10 years
2) Verifications are supposed to show someone has met someone else, and everything each has on their profiles is genuine, nothing more. A veri doesn’t mean you had sex with someone, most are about social meets.

We know veris show You’ve met someone in various guises but more often than not it’s about sex - usually bigging the other up - We find they serve as an at a glance ignore meter for us, we won’t meet anyone with 10 or more verifications in a short while esp if this is in a very short amount of time, ie - if they have been here for 3-4 weeks and already have built up quite the ressemee,
