Or what would be your maximum distance.

I had a couple come “from” Blackpool. Another lady came by train from Burton-on-Trent....had to go pick her up from station.

Don’t think I’d normally travel over an hour unless maybe I already knew them.

I travel with work during the week and I'm trying to find socials when I'm staying in different parts of the country up to a couple of hundred miles away

The good thing would be if someone doesn't show I've only lost my dignity as I am that way for work

It isn't from this site, but it might still qualify; I went to gravesend from Leeds once. I think that is about two hundred and fifty miles? That was an interesting journey down and back
