Should I feel like an asshole?

I had a person come up to me and ask if they can take a picture for a college project.

I refused, politely.

Now I feel really bad .

Anyone else experiences similar things?

Your choice, but I have done stuff like this and it's been fun, not naughty stuff just normal pics but where I've been suitable for the project, I've also modelled for art classes - again not nude though I would but leggings and tight top allows students to study musculature etc.

You didn't feel like it at the time, no need to feel bad! I'm sure they will have found some one else.

Things like that have happened to me. Sometimes I've said yes, some times no depending on my mood or what I've been doing. It's cool.

Never been asked to have my photo taken but I don't think you should feel bad. We're conditioned to an extent to be agreeable and saying "no" goes against the grain.

Go with your gut

Was it a college projet? They could have just thought you were hot and wanted a pic (or is that my filthy mind)

You have a choice and the complete right to exercise it.

Why would you feel bad for doing so?

I'd have said no too, I hate having my photo taken. There is no point me feeling awkward, and them not getting what they want, when there's so many other people they can ask who would have great fun.

I don't know why but it just makes me feel bad, probably will bug me for the rest of the day!

Should have said yes.

Whereas I get chosen as no ink or piercings apart from ears and that's becoming unusual.

Also long haired but older

But yea op don't feel bad it's not for everyone, they'll have found someone else.

Never second guess yourself...

There is a reason you said no ...or you would have said yes. It makes no difference if you can't rationalise that reason and you cannot change the past...

So why worry about it.

Fred got asked to have his picture taken at a concert, he agreed and was told it would be part of an exhibition in London and would be notified as and when. Never heard anything, and forgot all about it, roll on a few years later and flicking through a national paper to see him in a set of photos ahead of a book launch.

Well tbh if it was a genuine study they should of shown you credentials and details of a contact at wherever their study was based at for you to verify. That's standard code of ethics.
