Long post here. I have an ex of 5 years and I have just found out she is seeing one of my friends of 17years.
It's pissed me off because im thinking of all people why him. How would u feel about it? |

Thoughtit was going to be longer then it was. But of all the ppl in the world she goes and pick my friend. Now he's unfriended me from Facebook lol |

Is he your friend if he can do something like that?! Like you said why him?! Maybe she's just being bitter and decided to crack on with him to hurt you and he was weak enough to fall for it and they're now seeing each other! Ours better off without them pal |

I would be upset if you had kids together or were tied in some way like owning a house.
Otherwise I would just send him a message and say good luck just wish you could have talked to me about it rather than just defending me. |

Not being funny but friends of 17 years don't delete you from Facebook for no reason. I would question your friendship in the first place. As for the ex let her crack on. She's not your problem anymore. Onwards n upwards n all that bollocks x |

Did you speak to him on FB, seems odd behaviour to delete you unless something was said.
How close are you to said ‘friend’?
But really as others have said, move on and if you’re upset about your mates involvement, is he a mate? |

Mum used to say letting poorer less fortunate children have your old toys was the best thing you could do. If he’s unfriended you on Facebook, so what, it’s like the trash to itself to the bin. Move on. |

shit happens. if he was a real friend and he had feelings for your ex he would at least contact you to talk about your views ( we all cant help who u fall for)

Just dont rise to it. No point in contacting either of them, just need to get over it, takes time but you will get over it. Worst thing you can do is react, will just make you look bad. An he's not a very good friend anyway so forget him. This is just a chapter of your life finished, time to start a new chapter. Blank page, make it a good one! |

Be happy for them both, someone you cared about and a close friend have found love — can’t this be a good thing? You’ve choices in how to respond to everything in life, it could be a wonderful positive if you choose it to be and who knows they may introduce you to someone wonderful for you.

Is she had left you for him then his would be a totally different sort of thread but honestly after 5 years of her being your ex should you really care either way?
Your friends has either unfriended you to spare your feelings or he has put her before you, either way just get on with your own life |

If it makes you feel better, I gave my now ex a girlfriend, we became a three way relationship and he ran off with her after she made me out to be crackers, my daughter and I were thrown to the streets (luckily a friend stepped in and gave up a place to stay) and he refused to see my daughter (who he’s raised since she was two and she sees him as her dad) until I had to beg him because she couldn’t eat or sleep, yet I’m apparently the bad guy in it all, go figure |
