Do single women search and message men or are you ladies way too busy dealing with your own inboxes?

is it just men who do the searching whilst ladies sit back and enjoy the attention lol

I never revel in attention. At times, I do search and message guys first.

Far too many timewasters who can't be bothered to read and respect a ladies profile wishes. That can really grind you down so at times I prefer to do the searching.

A lot of fellas send spam mail out to as many women as they can. That's part of the reason we get so many. Myself and another forum user have had the same message off the same dude. We live a 4hr drive from each other.

This happens more than you'd think.

You make your own luck.

I have had some lovely messages as a result of posts on threads or ladies tripping over my profile.

You don't have to carpet bomb every inbox. Stand out, or at least stand proud and you'll be surprised. The less desperate you are to get a meet, the more likely you are to get one!

I have everyone blocked so I have to find people for myself. However I normally contact people via the forums. When I do a local search I find the results to be rather lacking.

I've been on here quite a while now (cant remember how long exactly, a couple of years or more) & in that time I don't recall ever being messaged first by a women. So I'm quite surprised to see the responses above. Maybe it's just me..... ?!

I searched London forums only to find nearly all topics are posted by men and responded my mostly men.

for example there's a dogging post in which a guy is asking couples or females and nearly all responses over 50 are from single men.. lol

All comes out to whether they find us interesting enough to take the initiative through first contact.

I like that if they do message me they definitely want to talk to me.

I don’t mind not getting messages very often. If I was actually looking to meet I’d try a more proactive strategy.

I think it helps because I’m ‘known’ on here through my forum posting, I also used to upload pictures regularly, so people got used to seeing my username popping up on updates as well.

The women like to look at your pics, read your profile and posts and then if they are interested might get in touch.

The more your personality gets expressed on here, through posts, in the chat rooms, status updates and your pictures- the more ‘known’ your username will become.

I've stopped messaging guys on here and I have filters on but I have another female account with no pictures that accepts messages and I check those. If there's anyone nice in there then I'll message them off this account!

It's the best way because sometimes I can't be arsed to speak to people and if I message them first and then request a picture (face or willy) and they're not what I like I feel awakened afterwards so I just do all my shit from that account, rejecting people etc
